Zhao Xinxing first extended New Year's greetings to the villagers, and affirmed the contributions made by the Monkey Island Friendship Association to the community and the elderly villagers over the years. In the new year, I hope that you will continue to be disseminators of Chinese culture, storytellers of China, and boosters of China-US relations, and make greater contributions to the friendship between the Chinese and American peoples.

In his speech, Zhang Zizhong, the former president, summarized the conference affairs and the contributions made by everyone over the years. As a concentric circle and a link between overseas villagers, the Philadelphia Monkey Island Friendship Association reaches out in time to help the villagers when they are in trouble. Every year during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Association holds the activity of "respecting the elderly", "respecting the elderly, respecting the elderly, loving the elderly, and helping the elderly" is the fine tradition of our Houyu people. The Friendship Association is concerned about the ancestral country and hometown, actively participates in various public welfare undertakings in the hometown, and generously contributes to the construction of a cultural and beautiful Monkey Island for decades.
