The new Luxiang Road road construction project was completed and opened to traffic on October 27, 2023, and in Baoshan, this is a new north-south corridor, which can start from Luodian Town in the north of Baoshan and go south to Putuo and Changning districts in downtown Shanghai. In order to solve the problems of Luodian Daju residents going to Huashan North Hospital for medical treatment and connecting to the rail transit, after many consultations and on-site exploration, Bus No. 5 Company opened Baoshan 50 Road on December 28, 2023.

The total length of the line is about 103 kilometers, 13 bus stops are set up along the way, starting from the starting station Lianyang Road Jingpohu Road, passing through Jingpohu Road, Luxiang Road, Meidan Road, Luohe Road, and ending at Zhangshucun Road Nianxi Road. It can be connected to Baoshan 3 Road, Baoshan 38 Road, Baoshan 29 Road, 345 Road, 527 Road, 1604 Road, 1605 Road and other lines, and can also be connected to multiple stations of Rail Transit Line 7 (Panguang Road Station, Liuhang Station, Gucun Park Station).

Since the development of the Long Beach community, with the acceleration of urbanization and the continuous increase of population, the problem of difficulty in traveling and riding has always been a pain point for residents. After coordination with urban construction, municipal administration, public transportation and many other departments, on December 28, 2023, the Wusong Riverside Line, which residents of Phase I, Phase II, Phase III and Phase IV of Long Beach were eagerly awaiting, was finally extended to the Long Beach community.

After the extension, the Wusong Binjiang Line will be extended from Baoyang Wharf to Fanyuan Road Yunhai Road Station, and new stations will be added: Fanyuan Road Yunhai Road (the first and last stop), Caijiang Road Yunhai Road (to Tongji Road and Shuichan Road), Fujin East Road, Caijiang Road (to Fanyuan Road and Yunhai Road), Pangu Road Binjiang Avenue (two-way), and the Baoyang Wharf site will be cancelled.

The Wusong Binjiang Line has been extended for one month, with a total of 1,513 departures, 12,010 kilometers of operation, and 22,941 passengers.

It is reported that the Wusong Binjiang Line passes through the International Cruise Port Wharf, Wusong Pao Taiwan National Wetland Park, Baoshan District Planning Exhibition Hall and other tourist attractions in Shanghai, and passengers who take the Binjiang Line can transfer to Rail Transit Line 3 at Tongji Road Shuichan Road Station and bus Baoshan 5 Road, Baoshan 23 Road, Baoshan 29 Road, 51 Road, 90 Road, 116 Road, 160 Road, 711 Road, 718 Road, 719 Road, 813 Road and other connecting lines, which solve the problem of difficult travel for residents along the line in one fell swoop.
