On January 30, Nanchong Mental and Physical Hospital held the 2023 annual work summary and commendation conference. President An Xianyong made a summary report on the hospital's work in 2023. He pointed out that the hospital is guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and under the strong leadership of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Committee, it closely follows the theme of high-quality development of the hospital, strengthens the leadership of party building, focuses on medical services, improves management capabilities, and successfully completes the annual goals and tasks. He stressed that 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and is a crucial year for achieving the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The cadres and workers of the hospital should closely unite around the party committee of the hospital, with a never-slackening mental state and an indomitable attitude of struggle, insist that Qingshan will not relax, dare to dare to work hard, carry a new mission together, and write a new chapter together.

In his concluding speech, Liu Yueguang, Secretary of the Party Committee, made an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges faced by the hospital and pointed out the development direction of the hospital. She stressed that in the face of progress, harvest and honor, we must still have a clear understanding of the new reform and development situation, we need good hospitals, and the people need good doctors. It is necessary to adhere to the core of meeting the growing medical service needs of the people, take strengthening talent training, improving medical technology and service capabilities as the leader, and improving satisfaction as the starting point, actively and steadily promote performance reform, strengthen hospital culture publicity, continuously enhance core competitiveness, and promote the high-quality development of hospitals.

The meeting commended 28 advanced management workers, 72 advanced individuals, 12 advanced departments and 4 departments with the best benefits.

At the meeting, the leaders in charge emphasized the medical safety, hospital infection prevention and control, fire safety, clean festival and other related work during the Spring Festival.
