How to tactfully remind students to pay attention to hygiene

Among the students I took this semester, there was a classmate named Liu Chenyu who was very smart. But he doesn't like to pay attention to hygiene, and every time he goes to class, his hair is greasy and smelly. Although I have repeatedly hinted that he should pay attention to personal hygiene, he does not seem to take it to heart.

Once, in class, I couldn't help it, so I asked him in a low voice: "Liu Chenyu, can you wash your hair next time?" You'll look even more handsome that way! When he heard this, he blushed and agreed embarrassedly.

However, when it came to the next class, Liu Chenyu not only did not wash his hair, but lay on the table and did not listen to the class. When I saw his performance, I was very worried. What can I do? I had to find a way to make him realize the importance of hygiene.

So, I decided to do a classroom education. That day, I told the students a story about hygiene. In the story, a little boy is reluctant to play with his classmates because he doesn't like to be clean, and finally under the guidance of the teacher, the little boy corrects his bad habits and becomes confident and popular.

After telling the story, I looked at Liu Chenyu, who lowered his head thoughtfully. I know his heart is shaken. So, I struck while the iron was hot and said, "Students, hygiene is not only responsible for yourself, but also respect for others. Let's practice good hygiene and create a clean and comfortable learning environment together! ”

After class, Liu Chenyu took the initiative to find me and said, "Teacher, I know it's wrong. In the future, I will definitely pay attention to hygiene and develop good living habits. I smiled and patted him on the shoulder, encouraging him to keep going.

Since then, Liu Chenyu has really changed. His hair was clean and tidy, and his body was free of smell. He is more active in class, and his classmates are willing to make friends with him. Seeing the changes in him, I am sincerely happy for him.

This story made me realize that as teachers, we need to be good at identifying students' problems and guiding them to correct them. Hygiene is the cornerstone of children's healthy growth. Only by allowing children to develop good hygiene habits can they be better engaged in their studies and prepare for a better future.
