There is also a famous Wangfu Stone in Wuchang New County, but the name of the woman is unknown. Cao Pi's "Biography of Lieyi" recorded: "On the north mountain of Wuchang New County, there is a stone of hope, like a person standing. Chuanyun: In the past, there was a virgin woman, whose husband served in service and went to the country; The woman and her young son were sent to this mountain, and they were turned into stone when they looked at it. After her husband was drafted into the army, the woman came here every day with her young children, looking far away, hoping to see her husband's return. She waited and waited, and finally turned into a stone.
In addition, Liaoning, Ningxia, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Guangdong and Hong Kong also have legendary Wangfu stones. Most of the legends of these Wangfu stones reflect the loyal love of wives to their husbands, and also reflect the suffering caused by military service to the people.
There are many poems in the past dynasties that chant the husband stone, such as Li Bai's poetry "Lonely in the mist, as if waiting for the husband to return"; Liu Yuxi Shiyun: "It has been thousands of years, just like when I first looked at it"; Meng Jiao's poems: "Pedestrians are long in the morning and twilight, and the color is the same for thousands of years"; Wang Jianshiyun: "The wind and rain are returning every day, and the pedestrians return to Shi Yingyu." These verses express the praise of loyal love and the pain of a long separation. If the stone could speak, it would restart the lips and make a song.
