Recently, in the Tendrovskaya Spit in the Kherson region, a fierce battle came to an end. According to the Telegram channel "Special Purpose Channel", a group of elite soldiers of the 73rd Naval Center of the Special Operations Forces (SSO) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) encountered an ambush by Russian special forces while attempting to land there.

During the fighting, the Ukrainian side abandoned a number of ships, a large number of **, and the bodies of dead soldiers. According to preliminary statistics, at least six Ukrainian special forces soldiers were confirmed dead, while the actual losses could be as high as 15 people. Another Telegram channel, "Military Informant", further clarified that two more ships of the Ukrainian landing force were sunk, showing the heavy cost of the operation.

At the same time, sources note that the Ukrainian special services were supposed to enter Russian-controlled territory on five ships. However, they were spotted by the Russians on the way and came under heavy machine-gun and mortar fire as they approached the coast. Despite the fact that one of the ships managed to escape, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost at least 20 fighters, one of whom was wounded and captured. When the Russian fighters cleaned up the battlefield, they captured a number of American AR-15 rifles, M249 machine guns, German HK M320 grenade launchers, Belgian SCAR assault rifles, and SVD sniper rifles equipped with modern body kits.

Regarding this failed landing operation, the press secretary of the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Vasilenko, said that it could be related to the "surprise" of the Black Sea that Ukrainian ** Volodymyr Zelensky previously spoke about to Fox News. Zelensky had hinted that the Ukrainian army was preparing a new ** and promised an unexpected "surprise" for the Russian army. However, judging by the current situation, this "surprise" has clearly turned into a nightmare for the Ukrainian side.

The head of the region, Vladimir Saldo, further explained that the Kiev side understands that it is futile to try to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnieper, but they may continue to do so in order to obtain financial support from abroad. He accused Zelensky of being "on external orders and absolutely without regard for the lives of the people" and of being personally responsible for the victims in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, some observers speculate that one of the purposes of the operation by the Ukrainian special forces may be to film propaganda** on Russian territory to show their results. However, their actions proved to have not only failed to achieve the desired goals, but also paid a heavy price.
