With the continuous development of industrial technology, syringe pumps have been widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other fields. However, due to various factors, the accuracy of syringe pumps is often compromised, and accuracy testing is essential to ensure the quality and reliability of syringe pumps.
1. Testing equipment and tools.
To test the accuracy of industrial syringe pumps, the following equipment and tools need to be prepared:
1.Flowmeter: used to measure the flow rate of the syringe pump, you can choose electromagnetic flowmeter or ultrasonic flowmeter, etc.;
2.Pressure gauge: used to measure the outlet pressure of the syringe pump, generally choose 0-600psi pressure gauge;
3.Timer: used to measure the injection time of the syringe pump;
4.Injection tube: used to connect the syringe pump and testing equipment;
5.Calibration standard parts: used to calibrate testing equipment.
Second, the detection steps.
1.Calibration of standard calibration.
The flow meter, pressure gauge and timer need to be calibrated with calibration standards to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results before performing the accuracy test.
2.Installation and connection.
Connect the syringe tubing to the outlet of the syringe pump and connect the flow meter, pressure gauge, and timer to the syringe tubing. Make sure the connection is well sealed and there are no leaks.
3.Set the parameters.
According to the technical specifications of the syringe pump, set the corresponding parameters, such as injection volume, injection pressure, injection time, etc.
4.Perform tests.
Start the syringe pump, observe the readings of the flow meter, pressure gauge and timer, and record the relevant data. In general, the test needs to be repeated several times to obtain more accurate results.
5.Data processing and analysis.
The detected data is analyzed and processed to calculate the accuracy error of the syringe pump. The quality and reliability of the syringe pump are judged according to the size of the error.
6.Result judgment and processing.
According to the accuracy requirements of the syringe pump, determine whether the test results meet the requirements. If it does not meet the requirements, the syringe pump needs to be adjusted or repaired to improve its accuracy.
7.Records & Reports.
The inspection process and results are recorded in the report, including equipment model, parameter setting, test data, error calculation, result judgment and other information. The report should be clear and easy to read and archive.
3. Precautions.
1.When conducting accuracy testing, it should be ensured that the operator is familiar with the use of relevant equipment and tools, and has the corresponding skills and knowledge;
2.Keep quiet during the detection process to avoid the influence of external interference on the measurement results;
3.In data processing and analysis, appropriate statistical methods are used to evaluate the accuracy of syringe pumps.
4.For unqualified syringe pumps, the reasons should be analyzed in depth and corresponding measures should be taken to improve and optimize;
5.Accuracy testing should be carried out regularly to ensure the performance and reliability of the syringe pump during long-term use.
