Once upon a time, there was a village where an old man and his son lived. The old man was very fond of his son and met almost all his requirements. However, the son is an unfilial person, and his attitude towards the old man is extremely bad, and he often calls him back and forth and does not take him seriously.

The old man was deeply helpless about this, but there was nothing he could do. He had repeatedly exhorted his son to be filial, but his son always refused to listen. So, the old man decided to come up with a way to educate his son.

One day, the old man said to his son, "You need to go to the mountains and chop some firewood and come back." The son readily agreed. The old man secretly followed his son, and after watching him finish chopping wood, he took him to a minefield.

The old man told his son, "You need to stay here for a while, I have something to do." When the thunderstorm comes, you should immediately run to the cave over there and hide. The son didn't know the old man's intentions, so he did so.

Soon after, thunder rumbled and lightning thundered in the sky. The son hurried to the cave to hide from the rain. At that moment, a bolt of lightning struck his body, and he fainted.

Seeing this, the old man hurriedly ran to the cave, picked up his son and returned home. He healed his son's injuries and took good care of them. A few days later, his son's injuries finally healed.

Through this experience, my son deeply realized his mistakes. He began to be filial to the old man and took care of him in every way. Since then, their lives have become happier and happier.

This story tells us that filial piety is a virtue and a traditional virtue of our Chinese nation. We should always keep in mind, be filial to our parents and elders, and pass on this virtue.
