On February 17, affected by the cold wave weather, Jiayuguan City ushered in a wide range of cooling and snowfall, snow and ice on the road, to ensure the safety, orderly and smooth flow of road traffic in the snow area, to prevent and reduce the occurrence of road traffic accidents. 
Organize police forces to fight against severe cold, ice and snow, conduct full-coverage inspections on the city's roads, formulate targeted control measures for bridges, ramps, sharp bends and key road sections that are prone to ice and snow, and grasp the road condition information in the jurisdiction in real time through first-class inspections, and help trapped vehicles and pedestrians. For major intersections, dangerous road sections and key road sections such as national highways, provincial highways, and rural roads affected by ice and snow, a combination of fixed-point duty and mobile patrol is adopted to increase the control of road patrols in the jurisdiction, improve the police rate and management rate on the road, and comprehensively ensure the safety, orderliness and smoothness of the roads in the jurisdiction. 
In order to cope with the extremely bad weather and ensure the safety of the lives and property of the people in the jurisdiction, all members of the special police detachment took up their posts and participated in the battle, continued to increase the density and frequency of patrols, and actively carried out various tasks such as convenient services, hidden danger elimination, and emergency disposal, with a total of more than 70 police officers, relying on more than 10 street police stations and more than 10 patrol car groups, to comprehensively increase social patrol control and service assistance. At the same time, we will organize emergency preparedness forces to prepare for handling all kinds of emergencies and rescue at any time, and make every effort to protect the safety of the masses.
Through the "two micro and one end" and other first-class platform accounts, weather warnings have been widely issued in an all-round way, and relevant departments have been linked to deploy and improve high-level services, 16 temporary law enforcement stations of the traffic police have been activated, and 21 temporary duty points have been set up, so as to make preparations for extreme weather. At the same time, reminders and warnings were issued to transportation enterprises and traffic participants in the jurisdiction, reminding them to prepare for prevention, drive cautiously, operate scientifically, and resolutely avoid all kinds of road traffic accidents caused by ice and snow weather.
