PERFEMIKER AuroraGel Standard Matrigel does not contain the new milestone of LDEV research

Mondo Cars Updated on 2024-02-05

The Perfemiker Aurorageltm Matrix is a native basement membrane matrix extracted from mouse tumors rich in extracellular matrix proteins. The main cytokines are laminin, type IV collagen (Col-IV), nestin (entactin), heparan sulphate proteoglycans (Heparan sulphate proteoglycans) and a variety of cytokines, such as insulin growth factor (IGF-1), transforming growth factor (TGF-), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF), Fibroblast growth factor (BFGF), etc. The product was dissolved in high-glucose DMEM, and all non-customized products were supplemented with 50 g ml of gentamicin. It is suitable for 2D or 3D culture related to cell proliferation or differentiation, as well as for cell morphology studies. It is often used for the migration or invasion of tumor cells, in vitro angiogenesis, aortic ring and spheroid culture.

Recommended Apps

Two- or three-dimensional culture related to cell proliferation or differentiation, as well as the study of cell morphology, related applications mainly include: cell invasion, angiogenesis, and organoid culture.

*Precautions for operation

1. perfemikeraurorageltmMelting and preservation of a series of matrices

Note: Matrigels of the Perfemiker Aurorageltm series are very temperature sensitive and should never be repeated multiple freeze-thaw cycles. The dispensing of the Perfemiker Aurorageltm Matrigel series and the preparation of the gel must be done on ice (4), as a slight increase in temperature is likely to cause gelatinization that can lead to uneven matrigel or affect the subsequent gel. Tubes or dispensing tips must be pre-cooled.

1) After receiving the product, if you do not use it temporarily, please put the whole bottle directly into -20 cryopreservation (do not put it in the frost-free refrigerator).

2) For the first use, embed the whole bottle of Perfemiker Aurorageltm Matrigel in crushed ice and place it in the 4 freezer to allow it to melt thoroughly.

3) Every time the product changes from frozen to thawed, please shake it appropriately or use a pipette to aspirate to ensure that the protein inside the system is evenly distributed.

2. perfemikeraurorageltmSpecial attention is paid to the use of series Matrigels

1) Matrigel can be quickly formed at 22-35. Perfemiker Aurorageltm Matrigels can be diluted in serum-free medium and should be used immediately.

2) Perfemiker Aurorageltm series matricegels are all sterile products, and the dispensing and use of products should be carried out in a sterile environment, and the experimental equipment (such as pipette heads, cryopreservation tubes, etc.) in contact with the products should be pre-cooled (cooled down in advance) before use.

3) Please do not hold the container containing this product with your hands for too long during use to prevent the product from condensing due to body temperature; If the product is thick and viscous in a short period of time, you can re-place the product in the environment of 0 -4 for 1-2 hours to restore fluidity without affecting the use.

4) This product is only for scientific research and is prohibited from being used on the human body.

3.Avoid contamination

The experimental operator needs to strictly distinguish the experimental operation table, the clean area and the contaminated area to ensure that the action of inserting the tip, filling the sample, and discarding the tip is a one-way flow. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves for operation.
