In the construction area of pier 184 of the approach bridge, the construction ship shuttled back and forth, and under the guidance of the navigation safety guarantee and construction operation safety of the Ningbo maritime department, after nearly 10 hours of continuous operation, the piling ship "Shuixinqi 1" successfully laid 3 steel pipe piles. On the first day of resumption of work after the Spring Festival, all 356 management and construction personnel were in place, and the resumption rate was 100%. The workers rushed to the construction period at full speed, aimed at the nodes to catch up with the schedule, and pressed the "fast forward button" of the project construction progress.

At present, the South Channel Bridge of Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Railway Bridge has completed the sinking of 148 steel casings and 481 platform steel pipe piles, the erection of 159 main pier drilling platforms and water mixing station platforms has been completed, the erection of 160 main pier platforms has been completed by 80%, and the sinking of 36 steel pipe piles has been completed in the middle of the sea approach bridge. Yao Tenglong, executive deputy manager of the project department of CCCC Second Harbor Bureau, said that the investment in personnel and equipment will be further increased, focusing on speeding up the construction of bored piles and platform erection of the main pier, so as to lay a solid foundation for the safety of the steel cofferdam of the main pier before the typhoon season in 2024.

Tongsu Jiayong Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Railway Bridge is a control project of the new Nantong-Ningbo high-speed railway, including three channel bridges in the north, middle and south and approach bridges across the embankment, sea and shoal areas, with a total length of 292 kilometers, with a double-track ballastless track design with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, it is currently the world's longest high-speed railway cross-sea bridge with the highest construction standard.
