Ferric chloride is a commonly used coagulant, which can promote the condensation of particulate matter in sewage to form larger agglomerates, which is convenient for subsequent treatment and separation.
Aluminium chloride is a commonly used flocculant that adsorbs and neutralizes particulate matter in wastewater. By adding the right amount of aluminum chloride, suspended solids and colloidal substances can be quickly removed, making the wastewater cleaner.
Reactive oxidants can convert organic and inorganic pollutants into harmless substances through oxidation. Common reactive oxidants include ozone, permanganate, and hydrogen peroxide. They can effectively decompose the organic matter and pigments in the sewage to achieve the purpose of purifying the sewage.
Wastewater treatment is a vital part of environmental protection. Organic and inorganic agents work through different mechanisms to help make wastewater cleaner. When selecting chemicals, we need to take into account the characteristics and treatment effects of wastewater, and carry out the design of appropriate dosage and treatment process. Only by ensuring the correct use of chemicals can we achieve the ideal sewage treatment effect and protect the environment.
