In ancient wars, people often said that "brothers in battle, father and son in battle". When Zhu Yuanzhang fought the world, he attracted many heroes and heroes to come to defect, including many fathers, sons, brothers, etc. from the same family, such as Geng Junyong and Geng Bingwen, Feng Guoyong and Feng Guosheng, Guo Xing and Guo Ying, etc.

And in this group of people, there is a pair of brothers, Wu Liang and Wu Zhen, who are deeply loved by Zhu Yuanzhang.

As we all know, in Zhu Yuanzhang's early battles, what was most lacking were naval generals. He traveled south from Chuzhou and gradually came to the south of the Yangtze River, where there were many water systems and frequent water wars.

However, Zhu Yuanzhang's subordinates did not have enough naval generals. Therefore, the brothers Wu Liang and Wu Zhen were often entrusted with important tasks and assumed the duties of naval generals.

Zhu Yuanzhang's fellow villagers Wu Liang and Wu Zhen brothers are from Haozhou, and they followed Zhu Yuanzhang to join the Red Turban Army. When Zhu Yuanzhang returned to his hometown to recruit soldiers, Xu Da and others came to take refuge, and Wu Liang and his younger brother Wu Zhen also followed Zhu Yuanzhang and became one of Zhu Yuanzhang's first 24 generals.

When Wu Liang was a child, he was a farmer with excellent water characteristics and liked to fish in the river. According to the "History of the Ming Dynasty: The Biography of Wu Liang", he and Zhu Yuanzhang raised troops in Haoliang together and served as a pioneer in front of the tent.

Wu Liang is not only brave, but also able to conduct reconnaissance underwater, while Wu Zhen often disguises himself and infiltrates the enemy camp as a spy. This "amphibious" combat method made Wu Liang an indispensable general in Zhu Yuanzhang's hands.

Wu Liang has good water quality, and often dives into the water for the purpose of detecting the enemy. In Zhu Yuanzhang's battle of crossing the river and the battle of Lishui, Wu Liangdu made great achievements.

Wu Liang is not only outstanding in water, but also has excellent defensive skills. Some people once praised him as one of the two generals under Zhu Yuanzhang who were the best at defense, the other being Geng Bingwen.

In the History of the Ming Dynasty, it is said that Wu Liang guarded Jiangyin, and Geng Bingwen guarded Changxing, which made it impossible for the Wu people to get their wish. Among the three heroes at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang occupied the middle position, Chen Youliang was in the west, and Zhang Shicheng was in the east.

Although Zhu Yuanzhang and Chen Youliang fought for five years, Zhang Shicheng did not take the opportunity to attack Zhu Yuanzhang's back road, because Wu Liang and Geng Bingwen guarded two important places.

Zhang Shicheng once used an army of 100,000 to attack Changxing, but Geng Bingwen was as stable as Mount Tai. At the time of the Battle of Poyang Lake, Zhu Yuanzhang's army went all out to fight Chen Youliang in Jiangxi, while the city of Nanjing appeared empty.

If Zhang Shicheng wants to attack Zhu Yuanzhang along the river, he must pass through Jiangyin, and Jiangyin is impregnable under Wu Liang's defense, so Zhang Shicheng has nothing to do.

After Zhu Yuanzhang eliminated Chen Youliang, he praised Wu Liang's performance, especially in the battle to pacify Zhang Shicheng, Wu Liang made outstanding contributions. Therefore, in the third year of Hongwu, Zhu Yuanzhang named Wu Liang as the Marquis of Jiangyin, and Wu Liang's younger brother Wu Zhen as the Marquis of Jinghai.

In this way, the Wu family became two marquis and enjoyed incomparable honor.

Upper Pillar Country": There are only four people who have honors in the history of the Ming Dynasty, and Wu Liang is one of them. He is not only"Upper Pillar Country", he was the founding father of the Ming Dynasty, who fought in the south and the north to pacify the barbarians.

In the twelfth year of Hongwu, Wu Liang's daughter became Zhu Yuanzhang's daughter-in-law, and the two families became in-laws. However, two years later, Wu Liang died of illness, and Zhu Yuanzhang dropped out of the dynasty for three days for him, and posthumously named him the Duke of Jiangguo and Shangzhuguo.

In the Ming Dynasty, only Chang Yuchun, Wu Liang, Yao Guangxiao and Zhang Juzheng were able to obtain it"Upper Pillar Country"This fully reflects Wu Liang's lofty position in the history of the Ming Dynasty.

Zhu Yuanzhang once exclaimed: Wu Liang, my Wu Qiye! "This sentence fully shows Zhu Yuanzhang's appreciation for Wu Liang, believing that Wu Liang has the same bravery and wisdom as the ancient general Wu Qi, and is his important strategic partner.
