Late Eastern Han Dynasty to Three Kingdoms (mid-2nd century – 280).
In 1995, M8 of the No. 1 cemetery of Niya Site in Minfeng County, Xinjiang was unearthed in the collection of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum.
This national treasure-level cultural relic is the arm guard of the male tomb owner, with brocade as the face and white silk wrapping. The brocade is woven in blue, red, green, yellow, white five colors, using mountain-like clouds as the skeleton, spreading continuously along the weft direction of the brocade, there are five star maps and peacocks, cranes, evil spirits, tigers and other auspicious birds and beasts, and the patterns are woven with the Lishu "Five Stars out of the East to benefit China" astrological prayer text. The brocade used in this arm guard is a Central Plains fabric, and the density of warp and weft threads is much greater than that of ordinary Han and Wei brocades, which is the representative of the highest technology of Han brocade. "Five Stars Out of the East to Benefit China" mainly expresses the astrological astrology of the Han and Jin dynasties and the ideology of praying for prosperity and auspiciousness.
Another fragment from the same tomb can be identified as belonging to the same fabric, with the inscription "Qiu Nanqiang" on it. After restoration, it can be known that the original brocade inscription is "Five stars out of the East to benefit China to seek Nanqiang". "Hanshu Astronomical Chronicles" recorded: "Among the five stars divided into the sky, they accumulate in the east, and China is very profitable." Accumulating in the West, Yidi uses soldiers to benefit. It is said that the ancient "five stars" refer to the stars of Chen, Taibai, Yingfu, Sui and Zhen, and modern astronomy refers to Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. These five planets are connected in a straight line, which is called the "five-star alignment". "Five Stars Out of the East to Benefit China" mainly expresses the astrological astrology of the Han and Jin dynasties and the ideology of praying for prosperity and auspiciousness. At 8:22 a.m. on May 8, 2002, the "Five Stars Alignment" was observed with the naked eye in Beijing. Scientist**: The next "five-star alignment" will occur on September 9, 2040 at 12 noon Beijing time.
