This proposal document states that "Ukraine needs to provide additional long-range ** systems and ammunition (......in order to be able to deliver targeted strikes on strategically important targets located in the rear of the Russian aggressor in accordance with international law".
Although Germany is now the leader of the EU's aid to Ukraine, and has become the leader of the aid to Ukraine after the delay of the US aid to Ukraine bill, Germany is still blank in providing long-range ** to Ukraine. This is naturally the Taurus cruise missile that Ukraine is looking forward to dismantling the Crimean bridge.
Of course, it is not realistic to let Germany provide Ukraine with Taurus cruise missiles alone, and the public opinion in Germany is at least not ready, but now, Biden has indicated that he is willing to meet with Speaker Johnson to negotiate the aid to Ukraine bill, and the White House ** also disclosed that it will transfer 300 km range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, Germany will not provide it first, but when the United States provides it, it basically does not have much resistance, just like last year when the two sides jointly provided Leopard 2 and Abrams.
As for why the White House gave Ukraine a big killer this time, one is naturally the defeat of the Ukrainian army in Avdiivka, which urgently needs to change the situation, and secondly, Navalny's death has completely deprived the West of the possibility of compromise with Russia, and Putin has gone all the way to the black, and no one can recover it; The most important thing is that the Republican Party's attitude towards aid to Ukraine is that either it will not provide aid or it will come big. As long as Ukraine wins, not to mention the F-16, even the F-35 can be given, which is completely different from Biden's so-called idea of playing a big chess game and slowly bleeding Russia.
