As a leader in drying equipment, high-speed centrifugal spray drying equipment is widely welcomed because it is suitable for special drying solutions, such as emulsification, suspension, paste, liquid, etc. Not only is the machine ideal for efficiency, but the size of the dust particles does not require additional grinding. At present, high-speed centrifugal spray drying equipment has been widely used in chemical, light industry, food spray drying and other industries.

In order to further reduce production costs and improve the operating efficiency of the equipment, we have in-depth understanding of how to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction of the equipment. Here are three effective ways to do this:

Increase the temperature of the hot air entering the tower

Under the condition that the tower temperature is constant, increasing the temperature of the hot air entering the tower can increase the total heat transferred to the mud droplets, thereby improving the heat transfer per unit mass of hot air and increasing water evaporation. Under the condition of ensuring the same production capacity, the required hot air volume is reduced, thereby reducing the heat consumption of the centrifugal spray dryer. However, it should be noted that the temperature of the hot air entering the tower should not be too high (no more than 600) to prevent the top of the tower from burning out.

Reduce the temperature of the hot air out of the tower

Under the premise of ensuring the temperature of the hot air entering the tower, reducing the temperature of the hot air can increase the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet towers, so as to increase the heat energy transmitted by the hot air to the mud droplets. However, the exhaust air temperature should not be too low, and when it is lower than 75, the powder will be too wet and will affect the normal drying.

Recycling of hot air out of the tower:

After the ceramic slurry is spray dried and powdered, if the hot air out of the tower is directly discharged into the atmosphere, it will cause a lot of heat loss (about 10% to 20% of the energy consumption of the milling process). In order to make full use of this part of the waste heat, the hot air out of the tower can be recycled into the preheating and drying process. In addition to direct recycling, waste heat can also be stored or exchanged for reuse through a heat exchanger.

Through the above three strategies, the energy saving and consumption reduction effect of centrifugal spray drying equipment has been significantly improved. In actual production, the flexible use of these methods according to the specific situation will help enterprises reduce production costs and improve economic benefits.
