"World of Legends", for many people, can be said to be the first online game in their lives. Starting from the novice village, passing through Luoxia Island, arriving in Zhongzhou, and then going to Shacheng, many old players have left a lot of good or bad memories in this game.
Speaking of "World of Legends", I have to mention how popular it used to be. As a large-scale online game that was relatively early in China, it undoubtedly opened the prosperous era of online games in China. Back then, even CCTV reported how popular it was, and it always topped the list of major games. Even I, a game novice, have heard of its name.
I remember when I was in middle school, my classmates always liked to talk about all kinds of interesting things about "World of Legends". What xx guild is pk again, what xx equipment is so rare, and where and how rare items are there. I listened to them talk about it with great interest, but I never dared to interject, for fear that as soon as I opened my mouth, I would reveal the fact that I had never played the game.
Until one day, I finally mustered up the courage to walk into my first Internet café. My fingers trembled and I clicked on the ** device, and "World of Legends" just entered my field of vision. After loading the iconic background** and login screen, I was thrilled. At this moment, I finally became one of them!
I still vividly remember how confused and overwhelmed I was when I first entered the game. I really didn't know what to do in the face of that big unknown world. So, I was outside the novice village, competing with those low-level dog demons and spider spirits. Naively thought that I was already the master of this world.
Until one day, I met the first real boss - the Rebel. Its cold and merciless eyes seemed to mock my ignorance and stupidity. I died once, and I died again. It dawned on me that I was still far from being the master of this game.
So, I started to learn various skills, level up, and add points in hopes of gaining a foothold in this game world. It was during this process that I gradually understood and became familiar with the game and made my first in-game friends. We started to level up as a team and go on adventures in various dungeons and secret realms together. I'm always the weakest guy in the team, but with them, I feel like I'm getting stronger.
During this time, I also joined my first gaming guild. At first, I had no idea about guilds at all, and I was just looking for a place to take in me, a lone little player. Later, I slowly understood the importance of guilds – it was like a second home, a place where you could belong. Team up with your brothers from the guild and conquer the city together, even if you are crushed by the rival guild. I've always wondered how cool it would be if one day our guild could dominate the continent.
Of course, that's just a beautiful fantasy. As time passed, the enthusiasm of the guild gradually cooled. It's getting harder and harder for everyone to get together. In the end, my first guild just disappeared without a sound.
I don't remember much about what happened after that. Maybe I was tired of playing, or maybe I didn't have any friends from the beginning, so I slowly left the game. When I think about it occasionally, I still feel a lot of emotion.
