A mountain fire broke out in Leye County, Guangxi Province recently, and the fire has been effectively controlled through the coordinated operation of multiple rescue forces. It is understood that the fire occurred on February 21, located in Houshantun, Daxin Village, Youping Township, Leye County, and the fire site and surrounding vegetation are dominated by miscellaneous shrubs and fir trees.
After the fire broke out, Leye County immediately launched a forest fire-level emergency response, set up a front-line command center and a rear command center for the fire, formulated a mountain fire fighting plan in a timely manner, and did a good job in on-site mountain fire fighting dispatch and command. At the same time, the Baise Detachment of the Guangxi Armed Police Corps also moved on hearing the order and rushed to the front line to coordinate with emergency rescue forces such as fire fighting to control the fire.
In the process of extinguishing the fire, rescuers used a variety of methods, including setting up isolation belts, using water guns, fans and other equipment to extinguish the fire, and organizing personnel to fight on the ground. After continuous fighting, the fire was basically brought under control at 12 o'clock on February 22, and there were no people.
It is understood that the fire burned an area of about 250 acres, and the fire expanded to about 2,000 acres due to the wind of about level 6 at the scene. At present, the cause is being verified.
In this wildfire fighting work, multiple rescue forces showed a high degree of unity and cooperation, jointly responded to the fire, and finally successfully controlled the fire. This also reminds us that in the period of high incidence of forest fires, it is necessary to strengthen the control of fire sources, improve public awareness of fire prevention, and jointly protect the clear waters and green mountains.
