The day before the Spring Festival holiday, in the Guiyang production base of Hunan Xiangdonglong Aircraft, workers seized the time to make the nose part of a light sport aircraft, after the completion of the aircraft, after flight certification, ground static test will be sent to Jiangxi in March. This Xianglong 100 aircraft is the first aircraft independently developed by the company, mainly used for flight experience and training, with long service life, safety and sturdiness, and is well received by industry insiders.
Hunan Xiangdonglong Aircraft *** Chairman Zhou Shizhong:In June 2020, I got the TC certificate of China's civil aviation, which is the type certificate, and in December 2020, I got the production license, that is, the PC certificate. Over the past two years, the industrial chain is gradually improving, and so far 26 aircraft have been delivered, and we now have close to 130 aircraft on order.
Xiangdonglong is a local civil aircraft design and production enterprise in Chenzhou, and its Guiyang production base can produce up to 100 aircraft per year, with annual sales of up to 100 million yuan. Zhou Shizhong, chairman of the company, is a native of Guiyang, Chenzhou, who studied at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics for 40 years. Hunan Xiangdonglong Aircraft *** Chairman Zhou Shizhong:We wanted to bring in an airplane and assemble it here, just like CKD (Whole Piece Assembly). The intellectual property belongs to someone else, so I brought it in, brought the spare parts, and assembled it here, but I talked about about about a dozen countries, and it didn't work out, and then we thought about doing it ourselves.

The R&D team has been formed, but there is no place for test flights, certification, and sales of the aircraft. At the end of April 2019, the Xianglong 100 aircraft successfully made its first flight at Xianglong General Aviation Airport in Renyi Town.

Zhou Shizhong and the technicians discussed the latest development of the multi-purpose aircraft - Xiangdonglong 600, the lifting is only 21 ton, which can undertake short- and medium-distance logistics transshipment, will fill the market gap of China's 2-ton passenger and cargo fixed-wing aircraft.
