In the middle of nowhere, there is a coffee shop called "Midnight Grind". The store is unique in that it is only open late at night, and there is an old and mysterious atmosphere to the store.
The shopkeeper was a man of few words, and people called him Arnold. His specialty is grinding coffee beans, and when the clock strikes midnight, the hoarse turning of an ancient grinder can be heard in the shop, and the sound pierces through the quiet of the night, making it particularly harsh and eerie.
One day, a young writer decided to visit this coffee shop late at night in search of inspiration. He ordered a cup of signature coffee and sat in the corner to savor it alone. However, when he heard the familiar grinding sound, he realized that there was no one else in the shop but him. To add insult to injury, the grinding sound appears to come from the store's basement, which is said to have been sealed for years.
Driven by curiosity, the writer decides to find out the truth. He groped his way to the basement entrance, and when he opened the door, he saw that the ancient grinder was running on its own, and the grinding trough was empty. Suddenly, the grinder paused, then spat out a yellowed ** with a young woman, the dancer who was said to have disappeared in the city many years ago.
Since then, the sound of the midnight grind every night seems to have become the soul of the missing woman telling her grievances, and the "midnight grinding" coffee shop has become one of the most terrifying places in the old town.
