The marshal is known as the "god of the army", he began to join the army during the Xinhai Revolution, and participated in the Nanchang Uprising, the Long March, the War of Resistance against Japan, etc., and is a senior who is highly respected by many generals of our army.
However, in 1947, a general of the Kuomintang did not take *** in his eyes, and even shouted:"You have a kind, you attack yours; I have a kind, I keep my ......”
So who is this ** general? Why is he so arrogant?
This person is none other than the famous tomb robber Sun Dianying. In Sun Dianying's life, the most noteworthy thing is the theft of the treasures in the tomb of the Empress Dowager Cixi. It is reported that he excavated the treasures inside and loaded more than 20 double sets of carts.
In February 1929, Sun Dianying led his troops to Mengcheng in northern Anhui, during which he proclaimed himself commander-in-chief of the Lu army and civilian army. In 1930, seeing that the opposition to Chiang Kai-shek was growing, he accepted the position arranged by Feng Yuxiang.
However, with the outbreak of the Battle of the Central Plains, the forces of Feng Yuxiang and Yan Xishan were frequently frustrated, and Sun Dianying saw that the timing was not right, so he took refuge in Zhang Xueliang. Zhang Xueliang also did not refuse, and he incorporated Sun Dianying's troops. In this way, Sun Dianying was promoted to commander of the 41st Army.
In 1933, the Japanese army gathered heavy troops to attack Rehe, and Sun Dianying was ordered to support Rehe. Unexpectedly, as soon as he arrived in Chifeng, he was attacked by two brigades and other units of the Japanese army. In the face of the powerful Japanese army, Sun Dianying was not afraid, but led his troops to meet the battle.
After fighting with the Japanese army for seven days and seven nights, Sun Dianying's troops annihilated nearly 500 enemy troops, which was well received by the people of the whole country. In the face of everyone's praise, he sighed:"Friendly and righteous armies are not as good as the common people of Rehe! ”
In the autumn of the same year, Sun Dianying was appointed as the "Reclamation Supervisor of the Western District of Qinghai" and other positions, and asked him to lead his troops to Qinghai. I believe everyone must be very puzzled when they see this, since Sun Dianying's ability is so strong, why did Lao Jiang transfer him to Qinghai? In fact, Lao Jiang did this for three purposes.
First of all, the transfer of Sun Dianying can weaken Feng Yuxiang's anti-Japanese forces, after all, Chiang Kai-shek has been silent on the resistance to Japan;Sun Dianying didn't know anything about Chiang Kai-shek's thoughts.Secondly, Qinghai is the entrenchment of Ma Jiajun, and if Sun Dianying leads his troops to Qinghai, it will definitely cause Ma Bufang's dissatisfaction. In this way, there will be a fierce battle between the two armies;
In the end, when Sun Dianying and Ma Bufang fought, Chiang Kai-shek took the opportunity to send troops to reap the benefits of the fisherman.
In the winter of 1933, Sun Dianying led 70,000 men to the northwest. At the same time, Ma Jiajun, who was in infighting, put aside his personal grievances and unanimously treated Sun. Although the Ma family army only had 40,000 men, their familiarity with the local terrain made it difficult for Sun Dianying to win.
failed to defeat Sun Dianying's troops, and Ma Jiajun did not panic, because they knew that Sun Dianying's food and ammunition were limited, and they only needed to fight a war of attrition to defeat Sun Dianying. Four months later, Sun Dianying also failed to capture Ningxia, coupled with the lack of food and ammunition, he had no choice but to retreat.
However, at this time, Sun Dianying's department was intercepted by Yan Xishan. The soldiers were already sleepy and hungry, and their combat effectiveness was naturally not strong, so it didn't take long for Yan Xishan's troops to defeat them. In the end, Sun Dianying's remnants were absorbed by Yan Xishan, and Sun Dianying also became the commander of the light pole.
In 1939, Sun Dianying led his troops to withdraw to the vicinity of Lin County in northern Henan, and his unit was also reorganized into the new Fifth Army. It was during this period that Sun Dianying had frequent contacts with our army......
Lin County is located at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, and the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army led by *** and *** is stationed in Taihang Mountain. It is worth mentioning that although it was during the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party at that time, many Kuomintang troops deliberately created friction. For example, the Kuomintang troops stationed near the Taihang anti-Japanese base area, Lu Zhonglin, Zhang Yinwu and other units.
Compared with the arrogance of Zhang Yinwu and others, Sun Dianying is relatively restrained, and he will take the initiative to get in touch with our party and our army. Therefore, after discussing with ***, it was decided to try to try to get him neutral.
On May 16, 1939, Chen Geng, commander of the 386th Brigade of the 129th Division, was ordered to come to Sun Dianying's department to talk to him. Knowing that Chen Geng was coming, Sun Dianying was very happy, not only warmly entertained him, but also respected him as a guest.
During this period, Chen Geng explained the purpose of his trip to Sun Dianying:"I came here mainly for two purposes, one is to hope that we can unite and help each other and fight against Japan together; The second is that it is necessary to discuss the issue of grain and grass with Commander Sun. ”
Sun Dianying nodded and said:
"I hope that your 129th Division will be able to send a staff officer to my station, and the two sides will establish radio contact to avoid being discovered by others. Please rest assured that Brigade Commander Chen is sincere in cooperating with the Eighth Route Army and will definitely defeat the Japanese army! ”Before our army was preparing to launch an anti-friction war, ** and *** had instructed Li Da to send a telegram to Sun Dianying. Sun Dianying, who received the telegram, instantly understood what our army meant, so he stood still. In this way, our army annihilated Zhang Yinwu's department, which was the most arrogant in creating friction, as quickly as possible.
At the same time, in order to stabilize Sun Dianying's department, unite more Kuomintang troops to resist JapanThe 129th Division still vigorously supported Sun Dianying's department despite the lack of its own food.
Under the policy of "striving for neutrality and uniting to resist Japan" formulated by Liu and Deng, Sun Dianying remained silent when our army counterattacked the Kuomintang reactionaries who caused friction.
On March 11, 1940, ** sent Li Da to Sun Dianying's department and conveyed to him the intention of our army:
"As long as Commander Sun doesn't fight the Eighth Route Army, then the two sides can continue to maintain contact. Of course, we also assure you that as long as your expansion does not affect us, we will not interfere too much. ”Sun Dianying nodded after hearing this, and said with a smile: "Yes, I won't beat you, and you don't want to beat me." Not ...... thoughSeeing that Sun Dianying still had something to say, Li Da immediately said: "Commander Sun, do you have any other opinions?" You just bring it up. ”
Sun Dianying laughed and said:
"It's not a big deal, and I would like to ask Chief of Staff Li to convey that I hope you can hand over the captured guns to me. These guns belonged to Sun, and Sun also paid a lot to get these guns. Of course, in return, I can also solve a part of the ammunition ...... for you”In order to further strive for the cooperation between Sun Dianying and our army to jointly resist JapanAfter careful consideration, it was decided to send more than 100 prisoners and guns to Sun Dianying's department.
However, what our army never expected was that with Japan's unconditional surrender, Sun Dianying would openly oppose our army.
In March 1947, the 6th Column of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Military Region was ordered to go north and besiege Tangyin. And it was their "old friend" - Sun Dianying who was guarding Tangyin. In the face of the heavy encirclement of our army, Sun Dianying was not afraid, because he thought that Tangyin's city defense was impregnable.
**For the sake of being a "friend" with Sun Dianying, let the soldier send a letter of persuasion to surrender, if he agrees to surrender, our army can not fight. But Sun Dianying was very arrogant, he shouted:"You have a kind, you attack yours, I have a kind, I guard mine! ”
In this way, ** is not soft-hearted, and decided to take it after discussing with ***"Attack its reinforcements, annihilate its reinforcements".The course of operations. In addition to this, the 6th Column was ordered to launch an attack on Tangyin on the night of April 6.
Tang Yin not only plays a very important role in our army, but also for the enemy army. Therefore, after learning of the attack on Tangyin, Chiang Kai-shek immediately sent a large number of soldiers to support. However, when they came to the area south of Tangyin and found that the main force of our army was stationed here, they instantly retreated.
In order to occupy Tangyin as quickly as possible, the 3rd Column was transferred to assist the 6th Column. On the evening of April 15, our army concentrated its forces to attack Zhangzhuang outside Tangyin City. After a period of fierce fighting, our army successfully annihilated most of the enemy in Zhangzhuang and captured more than 200 enemy soldiers.
After receiving the news that Zhangzhuang was occupied by our army, Sun Dianying was anxious and hurriedly asked Chiang Kai-shek for support. Later, Wang Zhonglian led his troops to support, but was repelled by our army to Xinxiang, and he never dared to take a step forward, let alone support.
For a time, Tang Yin was isolated and helpless. At this time, ** and *** ordered to attack Tang Yin. On April 20, the 6th Column and the 3rd Column cooperated to surround Tangyin, and occupied the north pass of Tangyin City that night to clear the enemy army.
On the evening of April 30, after a night of fighting, our army successfully cleared the enemy troops outside Tangyin City, and there was only one last step left to capture Tangyin. At the same time, Sun Dianying in the city panicked, and he sent many telegrams to Chiang Kai-shek to ask for support, but they were all refused. After all, the two have been grudges for a long time, and Tang Yin is really not good to support.
On the afternoon of May 1, the soldiers of the 6th and 3rd columns gathered outside Tangyin to prepare for a final attack on Tangyin. At 6 o'clock, with the order of *** and ***, the sound of guns and cannons came one after another, and the general attack officially began.
On May 2, the Battle of Tangyin ended successfully, and our army inspected more than 8,000 Kuomintang troops and captured the commander Sun Dianying. Soon after, Sun Dianying was sent to the Second Field Army training class in Wu'an County, Hebei Province for reform.
As we all know, our army advocates preferential treatment of prisoners, and although Sun Dianying is the commander, our army does not treat him badly. But the preferential treatment policy of our army made him very worried, for fear that this would be the last meal he had eaten. He worries not only about himself, but also about his old subordinates.
In this way, Sun Dianying spent day after day in worry. Until this day, he learned from others that all the "child soldiers" who had followed him were released, those who were willing to join the army were incorporated into the People's Liberation Army, and those who were unwilling were given to return to their hometowns.
Sun Dianying was excited that his brothers did not die, and on the other hand, he lamented the preferential treatment of prisoners by the People's Liberation Army. It was also from this time that he admired the PLA from the bottom of his heart, believing that they were the "righteous army".
Sun Dianying wanted to continue the transformation, but his body did not allow it, and not long after, he died of illness at the age of 58.
