This hardcover house renovation case in Hangzhou was commissioned by a couple working in an Internet company. They have a soft and simple and fashionable style, and hope to enjoy a relaxed and first-class living atmosphere after work.The original unit was 85 with two bedrooms, one kitchen and two bathrooms, and in order to save the budget, the hard decoration was only partially renovated in the bathroom. Through the painting and color change and clever soft decoration matching, a cream-toned living room with a strong sense of integrity is created, making the whole space full of artistic atmosphere.
Renovation highlights
Versatile guest bathroom design
1. The guest bathroom near the entrance canceled the shower, kept the washing area and toilet, and placed the sweeping and mopping machine.
2. The original storage room on the other side of the house is changed to an independent study room to improve the comfort of home office.
3. The original wardrobe room of the master bedroom and the original master bathroom are connected and integrated into a large bathroom, with an independent toilet area, shower and bathtub.
4. The original second bedroom is changed into a cloakroom and dresser in the master bedroom, which can be stored independently.
5. The living room area is a long hall, which takes into account the two functions of dining room and living room, and the load-bearing wall creates two storage forms to keep it neat and beautiful.
Entrance and entrance design.
The entrance part is painted with art paint, which is the same color as the wall, and a suspended shoe cabinet is set on the narrow wall at the entrance, which cleverly solves the problem of shoe storage.
The custom-made telescopic shoe changing stool on the left side is practical and does not take up space in the aisle, echoing the texture of the original hardcover floor.
The surface of the shoe cabinet is made of lacquered material, and the edges are treated at a 45-degree angle, and the details show the texture.
Living room design. The living room and dining room have a large window with a length of 5 meters, and the dream curtain is made of cotton and linen, so that the daylight is evenly and gently sprinkled into the room. The well-designed furniture display makes the space full of design.
The load-bearing wall on one side of the aisle uses stainless steel display shelves to place greenery, paintings, and art ornaments, which contrasts with the matte space, adding a sense of sophistication and interest.
The living room and dining room are dotted with different green plants on both sides to add color to the space and create a fresh and flexible atmosphere.

LD & Restaurant
Integrated and functional, the coffee-toned sideboard acts as a small water bar with a coffee machine and water dispenser strategically placed on the top for easy dining.
String shelves are placed above the sideboard to become a display area, displaying beautiful items such as cups and cutlery to keep the space tidy.
The dining table and chairs are designed with slender leg lines to create a sense of transparency, while the geometric chandelier complements the wood-colored dining table to create a unique sense of shape.
Den. The design of the small study near the entrance door, the two layers of open shelves on the wall as a display area, while the movable panel on the table hides the socket, the drawer below stores the sundries, and the soft light from the window penetrates the curtains, making the space more pleasant.
A low cabinet in the same colour as the desk provides extra storage space and adds a sense of tidiness to the study.
Bedchamber. Located at the end of the hallway, the original two bedrooms are integrated into an ensuite with custom-painted beds with 20cm headboards and bedside tables.
Scalloped wall lamps and shaped vases are paired with cream-coloured bedding to create a soft and comfortable atmosphere, while chandeliers at the foot of the bed and light strips under the bed box provide multi-layered light sources to create a comfortable resting space.
Master Guard. The bathroom is made of microcement as a whole, and the rear elongated mirror cabinet and surface-mounted light strip form a visual effect of space expansion, and the top embedded light strip provides a comfortable combing light source.
The transparent glass partition in the shower area and the niche in the side wall of the microcement bathtub cleverly store toiletries.
Cloakroom. A custom-made stainless steel shelf above the dressing table at the entrance echoes the living room, and the wardrobe is divided by glass to reduce congestion and make it easy to find clothes.
Public health. The public bathroom design of the shower is more spacious, the mirror and the faucet are designed in a straight line to enhance the sense of space, the overall style of the wall is unified, and the potted plants add color to the space, and purify the air to create a comfortable and fresh environment.
