In ancient China, there was a place called Jingshui Village. Every year during the Lantern Festival, the village hosts a grand celebration where families hang lanterns and gather together.

There is a girl named Satsuki in Jingshui Village, who is smart and dexterous. Every year during the Lantern Festival, Satsuki makes a special lantern to express her thoughts about her father who is far away. Her father was a brave warrior who had not returned for years to keep the village safe.

On the day of the Lantern Festival, Xiaoyue, as usual, made a beautiful lotus lantern. The petals of the lantern are cut out of paper as thin as a cicada's wing, and a small candle is lit in the center, which glows warmly. Satsuki hung the lantern in front of her house and waited quietly for the night to come.

Night falls, and the moon hangs high. The celebration of Shizusui Village began. Satsuki carried her lotus lantern and joined the villagers. Together, they lit all the lanterns in the village and dressed the village as if it were daytime. Satsuki looked up at the moon, as if she saw her father's figure.

Suddenly, she noticed a different lantern floating in the sky. This lantern has a peculiar shape and emits a faint light. Satsuki followed it curiously and came to the edge of the village. There, she saw a strange and handsome young man, and the lantern in his hand was the peculiar one.

The young man walked towards Satsuki with a smile and said, "I made this lantern for you, and it represents my thoughts and blessings for you. Satsuki looked at the young man in surprise, and she felt an inexplicable sense of intimacy.

It turned out that this young man was Satsuki's father. Years ago, he was sent on a mission to a distant land and never returned home. During this Lantern Festival, he learned that his daughter would make lanterns every year to express his thoughts, so he decided to make a special lantern to express his thoughts and blessings to his daughter.

Satsuki burst into tears with excitement, and she hugged her father tightly. At that moment, she felt extremely happy and warm. She finally understood that although her father was far away, his love and longing had never left her.

Since then, every year during the Lantern Festival, Satsuki and her father make lanterns to celebrate this festival, which symbolizes reunion and happiness. And the people of Jingshui Village also spread this warm and touching story, and regard it as the best memory of the Lantern Festival.
