On the first day of the first lunar month, I came to Xijiang for the second time. The last time I was here, it seemed to be the twenty-eighth day of the lunar month four years ago.
Compared with a few years ago, some farmland has been newly built into inns, and there are more shops on the street, and there is a few shops selling silver ornaments or ethnic costumes. In the middle of the river street, a large building is under construction, the structural columns of the reinforced concrete building have been formed, compared with the surrounding buildings, the appearance of the completed construction should be invisible reinforced concrete, and finally it will be built of all wood, and the roof of the building should also be covered with gray-brown mud tiles. I don't want to speculate on how many pillars made of steel and bricks and cement are hidden behind the wooden planks full of pulp, but I prefer to believe that everything is made of pure wood, because this is the best way to meet our expectations of farming and folk culture.
In the evening, we did not stay in Xijiang Miao Village, but returned to Leishan County and stayed at Leishan Hotel. I have to say that in a county in the southwest, it is good to have a hotel of this size. It is worth mentioning that the hotel ** is not high, and the service is excellent, we booked the hotel, did not check in and went out for dinner, the waiter helped us turn on the room air conditioning, so that we felt the warm breeze as soon as we entered the door. The front desk also gave each of us a red egg tied with a red string, which is usually distributed to guests, relatives and friends on important occasions and festivals to send them good wishes. Even the bathrooms are decorated with great care, with delicate hydroponic plants.
Xijiang is a town in Leishan County. Although the county also has buildings decorated with landscape lights and relatively high-end hotels, compared with the explosive popularity of Xijiang, the county still seems much lonely. The scenic spot is on fire, and the rolling source of tourists is the rolling source of wealth, so it seems to be a matter of course, the rent is expensive, the parking is expensive, the accommodation is expensive, and the meal is expensive. The proprietress of the hot pot restaurant where we had dinner in the county town also said: "Eating and lodging are still cost-effective in the county." Our bowl of rice for three yuan is cheap enough, if it is in the scenic area, it is at least five yuan. "Actually, it doesn't stop there, their rice and more than a dozen varieties of vegetables are unlimited, and they charge three yuan per person.
