As early as the Ming Dynasty, Feng Yuanzhong, a native of Cicheng, wrote famous works such as "Yi Dan Commentary" and "Yi Difficult". Nowadays, Cicheng has produced many well-known chess players, such as Wang Yubo, the Asian Games Go champion, and Huang Chen, a professional Go five-dan player.
