Protein is an important nutrient necessary for the human body, it is an important substance in the tissue cells of the body, is the basis of life activities, has the role of promoting growth and development and tissue repair, and is also an important component of enzymes, hormones, antibodies, hemoglobin, myoglobin and other bioactive substances that play important physiological functions. Meat, on the other hand, is one of the most important things for people to get protein.
When it comes to meat selection, there are also pros and cons. It is generally believed that the nutritional value of meat from four-legged animals is generally lower than that of two-legged animals. Especially for birds, as the saying goes, "I'd rather eat four taels of birds than half a catty of animals", this sentence expresses the importance of the ancients to birds, and also fully affirms the nutritional value of birds. What we're going to talk about today is one of the birds, the pigeon.
The vast majority of high-protein foods are meat, and high-protein foods are mostly high-fat, high-cholesterol and other characteristics, and excessive consumption will leave hidden health risks for teenagers. And the pigeon is not, the pigeon is also called "white phoenix", its meat is delicious, nutritious, our folk have "one pigeon wins nine chickens" saying. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that pigeon meat is easy to digest, has the function of nourishing and nourishing qi, dispelling wind and detoxifying, and has a good tonic effect on weakness, blood deficiency and amenorrhea, dizziness and fatigue, and memory decline after illness. What's more, the fat content of pigeon meat is only 03%, which is lower than other meats, and the protein content is as high as 24%, which is more than rabbit, beef, pig, sheep, chicken, duck, goose and dog. Moreover, the protein contained in pigeon meat contains many essential amino acids, and the digestion and absorption rate is also very high. The following is a "white phoenix (pigeon) porridge", especially suitable for teenagers.
White phoenix porridge
Ingredients: 50 grams of fragrant rice, 50 grams of pearl rice, 1 pigeon, appropriate amount of cooking oil, light soy sauce and salt.
Method:1Chop the pigeon into small pieces, add light soy sauce and cooking oil and marinate for 10 minutes.
2.Wash the red dates, fragrant rice and pearl rice and set aside, and cook the porridge together.
3.Put the pigeon meat in a frying pan over high heat until it changes color, then set aside.
4.Pour the pigeon meat into the boiled rice porridge and continue to boil over high heat, stirring the bottom of the pot from time to time to prevent it from sticking, and wait until the rice rotten meat is cooked.
Pigeon meat is very fishy, so it is best to stir-fry ginger and cooking wine before cooking porridge. The rice used to boil porridge is best mixed with half fragrant rice and half pearl japonica rice. This is because although the nutritional value of pigeon meat is high, it lacks vitamin C, vitamin D and carbohydrates necessary for normal human life, so we use fragrant rice and pearl rice to supplement the nutritional deficiency of pigeon meat.
