For every hard worker, living in a home surrounded by plants, flowers, and sunlight can be a good wish.

Today, we're going to share a home case of off-site design. Although the design team and the owner are not in the same city, through meticulous online communication and strict control, they successfully turned the family's vision into reality and witnessed the completion of the new home.

With a total area of 134 square meters, the house is a boxy three-bedroom, two-living room, one-kitchen and two-bathroom unit, with good lighting and ventilation on both sides.

However, the kitchen and balcony are relatively large, resulting in a relatively small foyer and living room, while the entrance door is facing the master bedroom door, which is less private. In addition, the living balcony next to the kitchen is long and narrow, the space of the secondary bathroom is limited, and the lighting is also poor.

During the renovation, the large balconies of the original units were re-planned, partly to expand the area of the living room and dining room, and partly to meet different space needs.

Highlights of the renovation include:

1. On the premise of ensuring that the kitchen space is sufficient, appropriately divide the space into the foyer to form a complete storage space.

2. The original restaurant was changed to a western kitchen bar function, which not only met the daily meal, but also enriched the space function.

3. The formal dining room is placed in the well-lit balcony area to meet the needs of dinner and tea drinking.

4. Divide part of the balcony into public space to make the living room more spacious and transparent.

5. Set the garden opposite the sofa to form a natural change with the TV wall for easy viewing.

6. Use part of the living balcony to realize the separation of dry and wet in the public bathroom.

7. Convert the bedroom with weak lighting in the middle into a study, separated from the garden by a window, and become an ideal area for viewing.

8. Use the layout and entrance adjustment of the study to increase the cloakroom function of the master bedroom to avoid the discomfort of facing the entrance door.

The owner loves to travel, lives in a homestay, and positions the style of the home as simple, simple, natural and comfortable. Therefore, the whole family uses a lot of natural materials, exuding the atmosphere of literary life.

On the left side of the entrance, the location of the original kitchen refrigerator has been converted into an entryway, and a shoe cabinet has been built from the entire wall to the top. Leave the middle of the cabinet empty to store small items when entering the door.

On the right side of the door, a felt board and a wooden frame are customized to cover the distribution box, and it can also be used to hang and paste message banners. The height matches the size of the full-length mirror, which is neat and uniform.

Walk along the entrance to the western kitchen area that has been renovated from the original restaurant. A row of sideboards has been added to the wall, leaving 400mm empty in the middle, which is convenient for placing coffee machines, small appliances and water cups, etc., and can also be used as an operating space for light breakfast meals.

The base cabinet of the sideboard is 450mm thick and the upper wall cabinet is 300mm thick, ensuring sufficient operating and storage space. The dining table is next to the sideboard, and although the area is not large, it is enough for a family of three to use daily.

The gray plastic steel door of the original living balcony was replaced with the same material and height as the kitchen door, and the overall look is more unified and harmonious.

Considering the limited width of the living balcony, it is more space-saving to use the form of drying and washing stacking, and the remaining space next to it is purchased with a storage box with a matching size, leaving no dead corners.

The Chinese kitchen is separated from the western kitchen by a sliding door to reduce the leakage of oil smoke. The overall low-saturation color scheme makes it look crisp and tidy.

The efficient U-shaped operating table meets the needs of washing, cutting and frying, and the height difference of the table is in line with the operating habits of the human body, so that the washing of vegetables does not need to bend over, and the stir-fry will not tire the arms.

Large-capacity cabinets are used to store a variety of shelf-stable ingredients and pots, and the added partition and hanging basket on the middle wall make it easy to store small items.

The original large balcony was integrated into the living room, outlining the rationality of the space through reasonable circulation and simple lines. Rustic wood and pure white enrich the layering of the space, while the horizontal dining table and dining cabinet form a visual treatment of the volume inlay, which is suitable for both sitting and drinking.

Break part of the wall to form a void that is connected to the study, which increases the interest of the space.

The TV bench is carefully tailored with size in mind, concealing the socket and making it easy to plug and hide the wires through the movable upper cover.

The "stealth" socket can be used immediately after being opened, adding a sense of ritual to life.

The inky dark grey sofa becomes the center of the living room, both steady and softly wrapped like a cloud.

The top surface of the wall is painted with a special ancient texture art paint, which is elegant in silence and highlights the charm in simplicity.

A spacious dining area is set up by the window, and the side adds the function of a storage cabinet to facilitate storage in the living room and dining room.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in white gauze add a gentle face to the home, and every moment of the blazing afternoon and the quiet dusk is beautifully lit up.

The original large balcony was divided into two spaces, one for dining and the other for the beautiful garden, with wooden sliding doors as functional partitions of the space, which are open on weekdays to maximize the sharing of functions.

The oversized windows provide a great view of the natural landscape, and the living room and dining room are pleasantly delighted by the lush greenery.

It is an adventure to breathe into this space, but a strong determination to make it a reality. As a result, every corner of the home resonates with nature and brings joy to the soul.

Through this transformation, living in this home is not only a kind of sitting and enjoying the beauty of nature, but also a kind of resonant life of the soul.

The living room and the study are integrated, breaking the limitations of space, allowing people to roam freely, and emotions rise in this rustic and exquisite environment.

What was once a bleak room now houses the owner's beloved belongings, while next door is a charming garden that serves as a tranquil place for this home.

There is a camera compartment under the desk, and on the shelves there are readily available books. The "window" connected to the living room allows people to look up and see the two elders sitting in the living room.

Next to 1The 2-metre sofa bed is an intimate nook for sitting and lying during the day and a great place to rest when unfolded. With a new home comes new expectations, and many small things, small wishes, and small plans have found peace here.

The bedroom is filled with a condensed poetic atmosphere, and when you return to this warm quilt, it seems that every winter day after work is full of anticipation. The window is well lit and a desk is specially set up, and the finished product has been carefully selected to fit the space.

The walls are painted in warm lychee white, the natural wood grain bed is like a whisper every night, and the cotton and linen texture blends perfectly with the drape of the curtains, so that you can express all the emotions in your heart with a gentle lift of your hand.

The bathroom space focuses on dark and stable style, focusing on practical functions and serving families. The public restroom cleverly uses part of the area of the living balcony to move the bathing area outward, which not only facilitates daily hand washing, but also improves the quality of life.

Due to the limited size of the master bathroom, a diamond-shaped shower room, mirror cabinets and bathroom cabinets have been used to increase the storage function. The designer skillfully uses minimalist forms of expression, cleverly displays structures and materials, and uses light, shadow and color to bring out the unique atmosphere of the space.

Here, interesting stories happen in an instant, and simple ideas can be sublimated. The new look of the house unfolds with the light and shadow, with its "wabi" elegance, integrating the elegance of "people", returning to the essence of life and enjoying the beauty of nature.
