In order to improve the health literacy of residents in Qingbaijiang District, promote residents' active participation in self-management and health management, and enhance residents' understanding of scientific exercise and healthy life. On January 19th, sponsored by the Qingbaijiang District Association for Science and Technology, and hosted by the people of Qingquan Town, Qingbaijiang District, the "Qingkehui" brand science popularization activity of "Healthy Qingbaijiang Happy China City" health science popularization into the community was successfully held in the people's conference room of Qingquan Town, and the leaders of Qingbaijiang District Association for Science and Technology, relevant responsible comrades of Qingquan Town and more than 50 community residents participated in this activity.
This event invited Dr. Wang Huilan, an expert in the transfer assessment of general practitioners in Sichuan Province, deputy chief physician of general medicine, and the first health science popularization expert in Chengdu, to explain the "three reductions and three health" of healthy lifestyle changes.
During the event, Dr. Wang used professional and humorous language to explain to everyone what is a healthy lifestyle, what are the "three reductions" to be reduced, what are the benefits of the "three reductions" to the body, and the healthy intake of oil, salt, sugar in daily life, and other popular science knowledge of daily healthy life. At the same time, health science gift bags were also distributed to the residents of the community, so that the residents could feel the warmth of winter.
Through this activity, the health literacy and self-care ability of community residents were further improved, which greatly enhanced the understanding of the majority of residents on scientific and healthy life, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the construction of a healthy China.
In 2024, the Qingbaijiang District Association for Science and Technology will continue to deepen the "Qingkehui" popular science brand, grasp the characteristics of the "five major groups", innovate the forms and means of popular science, introduce national, provincial and municipal popular science resources, and launch a series of characteristic popular science activities around healthy life, safe production, metaverse popular science, scientist spirit, etc., pragmatically explore regional popular science work, focus on the bull's-eye, multi-point efforts, and create a popular science brand "golden business card" with Qingbaijiang characteristics.
