In Windows 10, the steps to show hidden folders are as follows:
Open File Explorer: You can do this by clicking the File Explorer icon on the taskbar or by pressingwindows + e
key to turn on quickly.
Select the View tab: At the top of the File Explorer window, you'll see several tabs, such as File, Share, View, and so on. Click "View".
Modify the View settings: Under the View tab, find and select the Hidden Items checkbox. This will make all the hidden files and folders visible in the current window.
If you want to tweak the settings in more granularity, you can do it further:
In the "View" tab, click "Options" on the right, and then select "Change Folder and Search Options" to open the folder options dialog box.
In the Folder Options dialog box that pops up, switch to the View tab.
In the "Advanced Settings" list, find the "Hide Files & Folders" section and select the "Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives" option.
Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save your changes.
View hidden folders: At this point, the previously hidden files and folders should be displayed in File Explorer.
Please note that some system files and folders may remain hidden even if you follow the steps above, this is to prevent accidentally modifying or deleting files that are critical to the operation of your system. If you need access to these higher-level hidden files, make sure you know what you're doing to avoid potential system issues.
