Beijing Forestry UniversityFounded in 1952, it was merged from the Forestry Department of the former Beijing Agricultural University and the Forestry Department of Hebei Agricultural University, and in 1956, the Department of Landscape Cultivation of Beijing Agricultural University and the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University were partially merged, and in 1960, it was listed as a national key higher education institution, and in 1985, it was renamed Beijing Forestry University.
Nanjing Forestry UniversityThe predecessor can be traced back to the Agricultural Naturalist Department of Sanjiang Normal School in 1902 and the Agricultural Department of Jinling University in 1914. In 1952, Nanjing Forestry College was established with the College of Forestry of Nanjing University and the College of Forestry of Jinling University as the main body. Central South Forestry CollegeOne of the predecessors was Hunan Forestry College, an undergraduate college founded in 1958. In 1963, Hunan Forestry College moved to Guangzhou and merged with the Forestry Department of South China Agricultural College to establish Central South Forestry College. In 1974, it moved to Hunan and changed its name to Hunan Forestry College. In 1978, it was restored to Central South Forestry College.
