The import license is valid for one year and is valid for the current year, and when it needs to be used across years under special circumstances, the validity period shall not exceed March 31 of the following year.
If it is necessary to change the relevant items in the Import License due to special reasons within the validity period, the importing entity shall apply to the original issuing authority for the change and replacement of the Import License with the original Import LicenseThe original issuing institution shall withdraw the old certificate. If the actual amount of foreign exchange does not exceed 10% of the original amount of foreign exchange, there is no need to change the Import License.
If it is necessary to extend the Import License due to special reasons, the importing entity shall apply to the original issuing authority for extension and renewal within the validity period, and the Import License can only be extended once and can be extended for up to 3 months.

If the Import License is lost, the importing entity shall immediately report the loss to the original licensing authority.
