Li Dongheng, political commissar of the Handan detachment of the Hebei Expressway Traffic Police Corps, said that in order to cope with the snowfall, the high-speed traffic police suspended the road construction in advance, and supervised the road maintenance unit to sprinkle salt and melt ice during the snowfall. The highway traffic police have taken diversion measures for the main highways that do not have the conditions for traffic. At the same time, road patrols were strengthened to rescue stranded vehicles and people in a timely manner. At 23 o'clock on the 20th, the Wu'an Brigade duty personnel found in the ** inspection process that there was a small car on the highway in the jurisdiction, which was opening the double flash and parking in the emergency lane. The patrol people's auxiliary police resolutely adopted the method of escorting police officers and following police cars to give early warning, and sent the trapped pregnant women out of the highway safely.
On February 21, more than 30 snow removal vehicles and more than 300 high-speed traffic police, maintenance area staff, and toll station staff carried out ice and snow removal work at various highways and stations. At about 8 o'clock in the morning, in the section where the police on duty of the second brigade of Congtai District were on duty, a small car suddenly turned off while driving, and the police immediately carried out rescue and helped the owner of the car to push the vehicle to safety. At about 10 in the morning, the reporter saw at the intersection of Renmin Road and Guangming Avenue that a taxi driving along Renmin Road suddenly burst a tire, and the police of the Zhuhe Brigade on duty nearby rushed forward to help and quickly changed the tires for the taxi. Not long after, a white car fell into the snow during the drive, and several police officers from the Zhuhe Brigade stepped forward to shovel snow and push the cart to help the driver get out of trouble.
