Profile

Cao Jiqiang, who enlisted in the army in 2010, was awarded 2 third-class merits, 8 times as an outstanding soldier of the "Four Haves", and 7 times as a commendation. In 2013, he won the third place in the scout competition of the Xinjiang Military Region and was rated as "Jingwu Model". In 2019, he participated in the division competition and was rated as a "sharpshooter", and in the same year, he participated in the division's "four meetings" training and was named the chief "four meetings" coach. He is currently the squad leader of an anti-aircraft artillery squad.

Enemy planes' evacuate and shoot! The command and dispatch team gave the order. On the anti-aircraft artillery position, the officers and men quickly entered a state of re-fighting, and the artillery commander Cao Jiqiang led the team members to quickly remove the camouflage and adjust the firing angle of the anti-aircraft artillery. "Shells" roared "out of the chamber," hit the target! There was a cheer from the ground.

This battle is enjoyable! At the end of the exercise, Cao Jiqiang and his comrades-in-arms were still excited.

This is a corner of the scene of a live-fire firing exercise conducted by a certain firepower regiment of the Xinjiang Military Region that spans day and night. During the exercise, Cao Jiqiang, the artillery commander who led his comrades-in-arms to meet the demolition and dismantling tactics and successfully completed the task, is also our hero today.

Cao Jiqiang, squad leader of an antiaircraft artillery squad of a firepower regiment of the Xinjiang Military Region. is not tall, with a dark face and a deep voice, which highlights his self-confidence; The roughness and boldness of the Northeast man are vividly displayed in him.

In 2010, Cao Jiqiang joined the army and enlisted in the army, and he hit the first 50 rings in the first live-fire assessment of the recruit battalion. His excellent qualities allowed him to be selected by the reconnaissance company in advance.

In 2014, Cao Jiqiang participated in the training of division scouts. 50 of the division's 200 scouts were selected to participate in the competition, and two "Devil's Week" extreme training sessions brought him unprecedented tests. The 20-kilometer armed raid every day made him a little overwhelmed. Several times I got up from the brink of fainting and insisted on following the training.

is not a "rookie", striving to be a "hunter", and his inner obsession made him break out of the encirclement and win the first place in a certain type of sniper rifle shooting. His excellent results led him to be recommended to participate in the Xinjiang Military Region's reconnaissance special forces competition. Standing on the competition field for the first time, he won the third place and showed his edge in the whole division.

At the end of 2015, due to the needs of the task, Cao Jiqiang took up the position of radar operator and squad leader. At that time, Cao Jiqiang, who was born as a scout, faced many challenges such as radar operation, transmission of combat passwords, and organization of firepower unit coordination.

The Scout didn't admit defeat in his eyes. During that time, he could often be seen drilling in the radar bin with a professional book, practicing button operation and tracking. For more than two months, the professional books were turned into shabby, and even the numbers on the training buttons were worn off. He also successfully obtained the intermediate professional level certificate of radar operation and became a veritable station master.

In 2016, the troops went to the snowy plateau to carry out training tasks. Seeing that the exercise was about to start, Cao Jiqiang quickly judged the fault and carried out repairs, and finally solved the equipment failure before the exercise, ensuring the smooth progress of the exercise.

He accompanied the radar station to participate in several major drills and solved one sudden failure after another, but his heart gradually felt a little lost, and every time he watched the shells fired by his comrades whistling towards the "enemy", Cao Jiqiang's heart also followed and flew into the distance.

At the end of 2017, the radar station happened to have a new backbone, and Cao Jiqiang, who couldn't sit still, applied to the company commander for transfer. After the company's research, he was successfully adjusted from a radar station commander to an anti-aircraft artillery commander.

From staring at the screen button warning to dealing with gun barrels and ammunition every day, he was a little "unaccustomed" for a while, and there were many doubts around him.

In order to master the artillery equipment as soon as possible, Cao Jiqiang worked overtime to practice his professional skills. Dog days practice bomb feeding and calibration against the big sun, and study the equipment structure against textbooks and manuals; Practicing the decomposition and combination of the cannon and the cannon bolt over and over again, the new calluses on the hands were covered with calluses, and more than a dozen scars were left on one of the hands.

With tenacity and ruthlessness, Cao Jiqiang successfully obtained the intermediate anti-aircraft artillery maintenance certificate and the senior anti-aircraft artillery operation certificate. For the first time, he participated in the professional assessment of the artillery commander and won the first place in the whole regiment, and participated in the training of the "four skills" coach of the division and was rated as the chief "four skills" coach.

If you have a thin foundation, you have to work harder than others. "Whatever you do, you have to do it to be the best you can be. The two sentences he often said are a true portrayal of his 14 years in the military. Cao Jiqiang, who is now in the gun position, is always aiming at targets from the air.
