Chlamydomonas reinhardtii has the potential to change the perception of diabetes among the public an

There are 5 globally3.7 billion people have diabetes, accounting for 67%, compared to 1 in China400 million people, or 10 per cent, have diabetes. According to the Expert Consensus on the Screening and Prevention of Diabetes Microangiopathy at the Primary Level (2020 Edition) of the Chinese Society of Microcirculation, there are still 500 million potential diabetic people in China. These two figures are very staggering, indicating that the trend of diabetes at a young age is very rapid, and it has become the third largest killer after cancer and coronary heart disease. At present, there is no best way to treat diabetes in medicine, once diagnosed, lifelong medication and injections are required, which is the most troublesome chronic disease, and the degree of harm is known to the public.

Wonderingly, why is China the country with the highest number of diabetes per capita in the world? Is there something wrong with our eating habits?

I don't have a specific pathological study of diabetes, but I know a basic truth: all diabetes drugs are hypoglycemic, that is, let the blood sugar rise as soon as possible, but if it is too low, it is easy to produce hypoglycemia, which is life-threatening.

Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is a eukaryotic organism in nature, which was approved as a new food ingredient by the National Health Commission in May 2022, and then we have seen a variety of low-GI or low-glycemic foods added to Chlamydomonas reinhardtii on the market, such as dried noodles, biscuits, instant noodles and low-GI flour. As the person in charge of the health and nutrition journal, I followed up on this for more than a year, and finally came to a surprising preliminary conclusion: Chlamydomonas reinhardtii has the potential to change the status quo of China's current diabetes country and may change the perception of diabetes among the public and the medical community.

Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is added to 6% flour to make various foods, which are very likely to be low-GI or low-glycemic foods. This point is confirmed by the human experiment report of the Beijing Institute of Nutrition Source and the reports of the two certification bodies, but it is not understood from the usual mathematical conversion model, because flour has more than 70% carbohydrates, minus 6% Chlamydomonas reinhardtiformas, its sugar content should still be above 65%, it is impossible to reach the GI value below 55 (low GI standard), but the human test result is the GI value below 55. This shows that Chlamydomonas reinhardtii has an extraordinary antiglycemic (or slow-glycemic effect).

To this end, we followed up more than a dozen diabetic patients who consumed Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, and all of them said that Chlamydomonas reinhardtii has a very good sugar control effect, basically it is not high when you eat it, and it is high if you don't eat it. The fundamental manifestation of eating Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is that the mental state is better, the fatigue is significantly reduced, and the sleep is better. In particular, the case of 63-year-old Mr. Wang eating Chlamydomonas reinhardtii to control sugar is particularly typical.

Mr. Wang said that after cancer surgery in 2010, due to lack of exercise, he was diagnosed with diabetes in 2011, and he began to take medicine to take injections, and was exhausted by fatigue, frequent urination, thirst, poor sleep and low blood sugar every day, and his feet began to erode, accompanied by habitual diarrhea, severe eczema and myocarditis sequelae (long breathing), and he caught a cold five or six times a year.

At the beginning of 2020, he ate the first bowl of chlamydomonas noodles with 5%, and immediately felt that his fatigue was significantly reduced, so he ate chlamydomonas reinhardtii pasta every day and tested his blood sugar every day to observe the curve, and after a week, he felt that the diabetes symptoms had basically disappeared, so he began to gradually reduce the dose of injections and medicines, and canceled all injections and drugs two weeks later. He came to the conclusion that the performance of eating Chlamydomonas reinhardtii food is that the highest value of blood sugar (half an hour to an hour after a meal) is basically maintained at about 10 (usually about 15) and then begins to decline slowly, figuratively speaking, it does not rise high, and it does not fall low, the advantage is that there are basically no symptoms of diabetes, there is no hypoglycemia, and the weight is no longer lost after losing 12 kilograms, eczema disappears, the intestines are normal, there is basically no long breath and chest tightness, there is no cold and no yang in four years, It indicates that immunity is significantly enhanced. According to the results of the monitoring, he said that even the chlamydomonas reinhardtii staple food should not be eaten too much at a time, 50-70 grams is appropriate, more than 70 grams will also cause hyperglycemia symptoms, if you eat rice and other staple foods, blood sugar will still rise very high. He repeatedly emphasized that Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is sugar-blocking, not hypoglycemic. The fundamental difference is that Chlamydomonas reinhardtii can greatly reduce or mostly disappear diabetes symptoms, but it must be eaten every day and every meal. This case shows that we may have to re-understand how to ** diabetes, and the fluctuation of blood sugar may be the root cause of adverse symptoms and complications.

There are many more examples like Mr. Wang above, but they all come to one conclusion: you have to eat at once to have a good effect, and you can't stop eating or not eating. Mr. Wang described that when eating staple foods, eat staple foods with Chlamydomonas reinhardtii added, a bag of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii meal replacement powder in the morning and evening, and ensure that if you eat more than 10 grams of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii every day, your immunity will be greatly improved, and other aspects of your body will also be well improved.

There is no specific scientific evidence for how Chlamydomonas reinhardtii stops blood sugar from rising. However, judging from the results of human clinical and animal experiments, there are conclusions of "auxiliary hypoglycemia". Mr. Wang described that from the perspective of the effect of blocking the rise of sugar, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii staple food can be roasted, fried, steamed and boiled, but the effect of frying is not very good, which is associated with the content of crude polysaccharides in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is relatively high, between 15% and 25%, because crude polysaccharides are not converted into glucose in the human intestine, is it under the action of roasting, steaming and boiling, carbohydrates, which are monosaccharides and polysaccharides are fused together, so that some monosaccharides become polysaccharides, thereby reducing the amount of monosaccharides converted into glucose in the intestines? Further scientific trials are needed to verify this.

At the same time, the author also believes that the organic selenium content of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is very high, reaching 60 g of selenium per 10 Chlamydomonas reinhardtiformas, which is exactly the recommended daily intake of the country, and the World Health Organization has given selenium ten honors to the reputation of "insulin in trace elements", which shows that Chlamydomonas reinhardtii may be a combination of several elements, including Chlamydomonas reinhardtii The niacin content is also relatively high, and one of the effects of niacin is to maintain the normal function of insulin.

Medication is not as good as diet, and it is better than prevention. We will further cooperate with key medical institutions to carry out clinical research and data collection on Chlamydomonas reinhardtii in the prevention and treatment of diabetes, and hope that other research institutions will carry out multi-faceted research and model development. Perhaps diabetes can be solved through a variety of methods, including dietary therapy, or it will become a major breakthrough in the history of modern human health.
