The New Era Diplomat Talent Training Program for the Little Messenger of World Culture

On the afternoon of January 27, the launching ceremony of the "Simulated International Lounge - Diplomats in the New Era" project was held in Beijing as scheduled. Twenty-six young journalists from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region with good bilingual skills participated in the event as little messengers of world culture and little diplomats in the new era. It is understood that this event is one of the series of activities of the "New Era Diplomat" Talent Training Program of the World Cultural Messenger, which was jointly initiated by the Organizing Committee of the World Cultural Business Card and the Organizing Committee of the Campus Young Reporter Activity; Beijing Qingchuang Vision Brand Management Center provides special support. In each activity, cultural envoys and journalist representatives from all over the country will cultivate a development vision, an international vision, and an inclusive attitude to know and understand the world through friendly exchanges, cultural mutual learning, and experiential interviews with envoys from all over the country in China.

Representatives of the envoys to China who attended the event were: Arnol, Chief Representative of the Tunisian National Tourism Administration, Counselor of the Canadian Embassy in China, and Political Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in China. In addition, Tan Jing, the "Diplomat of the New Era of the Simulated International Meeting Room", the National Campus Reporter, and the co-founder of the World Culture Little Messenger Project, and Wei Zhen, the chairman of the World Culture and Art Cooperation Organization and the founder of the World Culture Business Card Brand, attended the event as guests and introduced the project.

At the beginning of the event, Ms. Tan Jing, editor-in-chief of China Report "Special Attention", a national campus reporter, a small messenger of world culture, and the co-founder of the "Mock International Lounge - Diplomats in the New Era" talent training program, gave a detailed introduction to the project to the guests. In her speech, Ms. Tan Jing pointed out that since the establishment of the World Cultural Little Messenger Project in 2018, the organizing committee has led cultural messengers from different regions of China to visit the embassies of Iran, Egypt, Sri Lanka and other countries in China to conduct friendly exchanges with ambassadors and envoys in China. During the Beijing World Horticultural Expo, 120 cultural messengers conducted special interviews with the curators of more than 10 national pavilions, and their fluent English and superb performances were unanimously praised by international friends. In the same year, it co-founded the "International Bilingual Young Journalists" program with the "Canadian Life Education and Growth Association" in Toronto, with nearly 500 overseas members. For 4 consecutive years, he has participated in the "National Campus Network Spring Festival Gala and Campus Young Reporter Award Ceremony" of the Central Committee, and performed at the same frequency with cultural envoys and international friends from China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), Singapore, Pakistan, Sudan, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, the United States and other countries. Over the years, it has jointly planned and organized thousands of international cultural exchange activities, and has now become Canada's largest youth bilingual young journalist and world culture messenger organization.

At the end of 2023, the Asia-Pacific Communication Center of CIPG launched the "Diplomat in the New Era of Simulated International Lounge" project in Beijing. Ms. Wei Zhen, President of the World Culture and Art Cooperation Organization and Founder of the World Culture Business Card, said in her speech that the event aims to continue the successful experience of the World Culture Messenger, and to enhance the mutual learning and mutual visit of young people and children from all over the world in the form of content dialogue, cultural performances, and intangible cultural heritage promotion through the platform of simulated international meeting room, so as to guide young people to learn each other's cultural customs and spread international friendship. In the future, an international research project will be carried out to encourage children and teenagers to measure the world with their feet, and to demonstrate the new concept of "world interconnection and child-friendly" with practical actions in the walking classroom.

Subsequently, the representatives of Tunisia, Canada and the Republic of North Macedonia in China shared their country's humanistic characteristics and local customs with the guests through rich video materials and PPT introductions, so that every student present could further understand the local customs and the important relationship with China. Mr. Arnol, the chief representative of the Tunisian National Tourism Administration, also prepared local specialties and souvenirs for the students, and the envoys in China also prepared exquisite certificates and autographs for the young messengers, and the on-site exchange atmosphere was friendly.

During the event, the student representatives present conveyed the history and culture of their hometown and the traditional Chinese characteristics to the envoys and guests in China in the form of wonderful English speeches, martial arts and folk dance performances, and received bursts of applause from the envoys in China. In the open-ended interactive experience interview session, the students had face-to-face exchanges with the Chinese envoys to understand the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, and also shared Chinese New Year culture and folk customs with the guests, and conveyed blessings. In addition, the ambassadors in Beijing received a unique Chinese characteristics of the "Year of the Dragon Gift - CCTV Cultural and Creative and Royal Paste jointly launched a healthy gift autumn pear paste", the ambassadors said that the Royal Paste Autumn Pear Paste is the healthiest gift received in the New Year, and wish the culture of traditional Chinese medicine to bloom more brilliantly on the world stage.
