At the event site, social workers led games such as "Flower Messenger" and "Cohesion", so that the participants could quickly get familiar with and integrate into the activity. In the salon session, through the form of group PK, case discussion and sharing, the children's director can more comprehensively grasp the professional service skills in a relaxed atmosphere, and how to better serve children. At the scene, the "Fulei Hand in Hand Care Action" was also launched. The participants actively applied for the "Year of the Dragon" love warm winter material package for the children in Fulei in the jurisdiction.
At the end of 2023, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, together with 14 ministries and commissions, issued the Three-Year Action Plan for Improving the Quality of Care Services for Left-behind Children and Children in Difficult Situations in Rural Areas, which further clarified that the professional and institutionalized training of grassroots child directors is an important part of child care services.
It is reported that starting in 2021, the Licheng District Civil Affairs Bureau entrusted the Licheng District Zhihe Social Work Office to implement the "Fulei Action Plan" project through project purchase. In 2023, the project will continue to innovate and launch the "Children's Director Training" program, which plans to carry out 6 sessions of training for children's directors, and has carried out 2 phases with a total of more than 100 people participating. Through the training, the children's directors continue to take root at the grassroots level, and work with social workers and caring people to carry out services for children in distress around five service contents, including "carp" filing, "carp" cases, "carp" visits, "carp" wishes and "carp" publicity, and deeply explore the "children's director + social worker" service model for children in distress, and focus on the "child protection network" for the protection of minors.
In the next stage, the Licheng District Civil Affairs Bureau will continue to implement the "Children's Director Training" plan, focusing on the relevant policies of child care and protection, the responsibilities of child directors and related protection practices, the skills of social work in children's services, and special children's services, so as to escort the high-quality development of child welfare and juvenile protection.
