US lawmakers are once again discussing the dismantling of Chinese equipment, and the gap has widened to tens of billions of dollars!
In 2018, the United States demanded that the United States withdraw a large amount of domestically produced equipment from China, citing "security threats". Although they know that the ** is very high, they still want to put the responsibility on Chinese products.
However, in the beginning, most of the operators were against it because they were not willing to bear the cost. In desperation, the United States decided to replace the machine with 1.9 billion yuan.
And now, it's 2024 and I don't know what will happen.
According to Hong Kong**, U.S. lawmakers once again mentioned the dismantling of Chinese equipment at the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Conference held in the United States. They believe that it is still dangerous for Chinese IT products to remain in the U.S. market. However, a few years later, the demolition plan is still 3.1 billion yuan short. If the ban continues, the gap could widen to tens of billions.
There are two meanings of this statement, one is that the demolition plan has not been implemented, and some time later four years later, they are still worried about the problem of funding. Secondly, the cost of disassembling equipment in China is too high, and it will cost billions to say the least.
To put it bluntly, they have been for a long time, not only have they not done anything substantial, but they are constantly increasing the funding gap, which means that it is difficult for them to complete all the demolition work, and also, over time, they do not have enough financial resources to complete the demolition task.
Some analysts say they can't go ahead with the restructuring because of more than just a huge funding gap. It's just that it's hard for them to find a product that can replace the Chinese manufacturer, and it's also hard to find a suitable replacement. In other words, they are stalling for time, trying to use our equipment on the one hand, and trying to charge our company with a trumped-up charge on the other. Once they have more options, then, they will really abandon us.
It's just that this plan, how can it be so easy to achieve?
We have made our attitude clear, and so far, there is no evidence from the United States, they are still suppressing Chinese companies, which is a kind of bullying, and we will continue to support our company and defend our rights. In other words, if it really comes to the point of demolition, our company will also stand up against it, after all, they have not provided any evidence.
In such a situation, it would be difficult for them to tear down the 5G network because they could not find any evidence.
Now, when they bring it up again, there are probably two possibilities: first, they don't plan to demolish it, because the gap in the house is too big. Second, supervise the replenishment of funds and speed up the demolition and relocation work. However, as far as I know, the latter is not very likely, otherwise there would not have been no progress in the past four years.
