Electronic equipment crisis!A clever twist for parents Weekend adventures make kids super smart
Today's parents are well aware of the impact of electronic devices on their children's development and the importance of family relationships.
Today, I'm going to tell you a story about the weekend, a story about how to develop a child's scientific spirit in the midst of outdoor adventures, and how our family has changed.
Every Saturday morning, I can feel the nightmare of electronic devices at home begin.
Children pick up their mobile phones and tablets early and play games while eating breakfast.
This scene is so familiar to me, but it worries me more and more because I know it's not healthy for their growth.
One day, my partner and I decided we wanted to change that.
We sat down and thought about why not use the weekends to take the kids out and explore nature
So, we decided to go on a nature expedition and see what the difference would be.
On Saturday morning, our family set off early and went to a nearby forest.
At first, the children were a little hesitant, but when they stepped into the lap of nature, their eyes widened and their curiosity burned like a lit flame.
We saw birds flying through the woods, small animals running through the meadows, and the leaves of the trees swaying gently in the breeze.
The children began to ask questions such as, "How do birds fly?".How do these plants grow?”
My partner and I tried our best to answer them, but we also admitted that there were some questions that we didn't know about, so we decided to explore the answers together.
With the frequency of nature adventures on weekends, we began to notice changes in family relationships.
Children are less dependent on electronic devices and are eager for adventures every weekend.
And we, as parents, have become closer to them, and we interact more in outdoor activities to share each other's joys and discoveries.
Through the weekend nature adventures, we saw a significant improvement in the children's scientific spirit.
They are no longer bound by books, but learn about science through hands-on experience.
Watching a bee collect pollen and explore tiny creatures on leaves became the basis for their learning.
This hands-on learning style fosters their sense of observation and curiosity, and makes them passionate about science.
Each weekend's nature adventure ends with a Sunday night family journal.
We sat together and reviewed the changes that had taken place over the weekend.
Family ties are tighter, and children become more independent and confident.
And we, too, have rediscovered the true joy of family life.
Weekend nature adventures are a great way to bring families closer and kids smarter.
It not only fosters a scientific spirit in our children, but also allows us to reconnect with our children.
I encourage every family to join this activity and let their children grow up happily in outdoor play.
