Titanium (Ti): 10~1.7%
Niobium (NB): 275~4.0%
These chemical compositions determine the composition of the Inconel 725 alloy, giving it special properties. Elements such as nickel, chromium and molybdenum in the alloy give the alloy good corrosion resistance, while the addition of titanium and aluminum helps to reduce carbide precipitation, improve the intergranular corrosion resistance and aging enhancement effect of the alloy.
Physical properties. Density.
Inconel 725 has a density of 831 g/cm³。
Melting point. The melting point of Inconel 725 is approximately 1,315°C (2,399°F).
Coefficient of thermal expansion.
The coefficient of thermal expansion of Inconel 725 is 133 μm/m·°c(20-100°c)。
Thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of Inconel 725 is 91 w/m·k(100°c)。
Easy to weld. Inconel 725 has good welding performance and can be welded using conventional welding methods such as TIG, MIG, SMAW, etc.
Corrosion resistance. Inconel 725 has excellent corrosion resistance and can be used in a variety of corrosive media such as acidic, alkaline, chloride, etc.
Anti-fatigue properties.
Inconel 725 has excellent fatigue resistance and can be used in harsh environments such as high temperatures, high pressures, and high stresses.
High temperature performance. Inconel 725 has excellent high-temperature properties and can maintain good mechanical and chemical stability at high temperatures.
