In this regard, the procuratorial organs severely punish cybercrime in accordance with the law to maintain network security and social stability. Among them, the procuratorate focused on the grim situation of illegally obtaining and providing personal information as a black industry for cybercrime, strengthened the full-chain crackdown on upstream information collection, provision, resale and other links, and prosecuted more than 7,300 people for crimes of infringing on citizens' personal information in the first 11 months of 2023.

At the same time, the procuratorate focused on the development of the digital economy, focusing on punishing the crime of illegally obtaining business data and user data of online platforms, as well as the crime of online infringement and piracy, and prosecuted more than 1,300 people for crimes endangering the security of computer information systems and more than 1,400 people for online infringement of intellectual property rights in the first 11 months of last year.
