On January 6, 2024, the listing ceremony of the Hongdong Dahuashu Migrant Surname Cultural Exchange Base was held in the Henan Genealogy Museum, the hometown of Zhengzhou City. He Donghai, executive deputy general manager of Hongdong Big Locust Tree Scenic Area, and Wei Huaixi, director of Henan Hometown Genealogy Museum, attended the ceremony and was listed.

Because of the great immigrant feat of the Ming Dynasty, the Hongdong Big Locust Tree Root-seeking Ancestral Garden has become the "Ancestral Holy Land" jointly recognized by the descendants of immigrants at home and abroad, which also makes Hongdong have a unique immigrant culture and surname culture. As a national 5A-level tourist holy place, the Big Locust Tree Root-Seeking Ancestral Garden has become an important window for the descendants of immigrants at home and abroad to trace their roots and ask their ancestors.
Hongdong Big Locust Tree Scenic Area and Hongdong Big Locust Tree Culture Research Center have been committed to the research and excavation of immigrant surname culture, and have achieved fruitful results. Since 2011, Hongdong Big Locust Tree Scenic Area has funded the establishment of the Big Locust Tree Culture Research Center, convened a group of scholars and experts to research groups, and organized a series of academic activities such as Hongdong Big Locust Tree Cultural Seminar around the Hongdong Big Locust Tree Immigrant Surname Culture. In addition, it has also carried out activities such as the promotion of Genzu culture, a series of lectures by experts, centralized training of commentators, and public welfare research activities, and published more than 20 academic monographs on Genzu culture, such as "The History of Hongdong Locust Tree Immigration" and "Hongdong Dahua Tree Chronicles". The development of these works has played an important role in consolidating the foundation of the research on the surname culture of the Hongdong locust tree.
The hometown Henan Genealogy Museum is jointly sponsored by the Henan Provincial Archives and the Henan Surname Culture Research Association, and is built by the Henan Provincial Genealogy Culture Research Institute and the Genealogy Committee of the Henan Surname Culture Research Association. Since the Hongdong Big Locust Tree Migrant Surname Genealogy Cultural Forum was held in June 2023, the Hongdong County Big Locust Tree Cultural Research Center has been closely cooperating with the Henan Hometown Genealogy Museum. The success of "holding hands" is not only a strategic need for the development of culture, but also a win-win move. In the future, the two sides will also be guided by the series of important speeches of the general secretary on promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, carry forward the immigrant surname culture as the main line, and carry out cooperation and exchanges in the field of immigrant surname culture in the big locust tree, so as to achieve complementary resources, sharing advantages, common development and win-win cooperation.
