In the past, there was a great monk who traveled all over the world, broadened the breadth of sentient beings, created Buddhist halls, opened lecture halls to spread Buddhism, and saved people in dire straits. However, he did not focus too much on his personal practice and devoted more of his time to helping others.
On this day, he had just finished a short rest and was about to embark on another journey of charity, when two messengers from hell quietly appeared and whispered to him that he had reached the end of the wheel of life and needed to go to Hades to be judged and punished. Two messengers knocked on the door with handcuffs and an arrest warrant issued by Hades, weapons of punishment.
The monk calmly replied to them, "Can I think about it for a moment?" I became a monk since I was a child, and I have devoted most of my life to public welfare, so I don't have enough time to devote myself to spiritual practice. Please give me three days off, and if I can realize the Dharma during this time, I will first enlighten the two of you, and then the suffering of Hades will no longer be something I fear. ”
After discussing in a whisper, the two envoys felt that this was a rare opportunity, so they agreed to the Zen master's request and left quietly.
After the two envoys left, the monk immediately put down all his affairs and quietly began to meditate. He no longer opened lecture halls, nor did he focus on building temples or solving people's livelihood problems. He sat purely, immersed in boundless silence. With the passage of time, the Zen master gradually reached the realm of awakening, and there was no longer any entanglement and confusion in his heart, only endless light remained.
On the third day, the two envoys came to visit the Zen master again, but they saw only a dazzling light, and the Zen master was long gone.
Oops! Fooled!
The two messengers hated their carelessness, and they begged the Zen master not to spare his compassion and to be able to steer the two of them on the right path. They continued to admonish the Zen master: "Master, you promised to transform the two of us, but now how can you break your word? Otherwise, we will be punished when we return to the underworld. ”
The Zen master is still immovable, his state of mind is like the surface of a lake, quiet and waveless. The two messengers could not understand why the master was so calm, and they waited anxiously, hoping that the light of the teeth would gradually dissipate and reveal the figure of the Zen master. Eventually, the light gradually turned into a black shadow, from which the shadow of the Zen master emerged, and immediately after that, two messengers immediately grabbed the Zen master and put shackles on him.
The Zen master was puzzled and asked the two messengers why they treated him like this. At this moment, the two messengers explained to the Zen master what had happened.
After hearing this, the Zen master suddenly realized, and he immediately clenched the purple gold bowl in his hand and smashed it into the ground.
Alright, let's go to King Yama and go together!
All this allowed the two onicha to see the true understanding from the Zen master. February** Dynamic Incentive Program
