In response to the peak of passenger flow during the Spring Festival, the terminal carefully arranged the customs clearance site at the port, integrated the traditional cultural elements of the Spring Festival, and added a festive "New Year's flavor".

At the same time, border inspectors believe that with the implementation of measures to facilitate foreign personnel to come to China, the visa-free policy will continue to be released, and the popularity of inbound and outbound tourism will increase significantly, and the Spring Festival holiday in 2024 may usher in a new peak in the flow of inbound and outbound tourists in the past three years.

According to the Xiamen Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station**, Fujian Port will welcome a new round of peak inbound and outbound passenger flow during the Spring Festival holiday in 2024, with the number of inbound and outbound passengers expected to exceed 180,000 from February 9 to 17, an increase of more than 3 times compared with last year's Spring Festival holiday, and an increase of more than 20% per day compared with January.

The Fujian border inspection department is strengthening the monitoring of the flow of inbound and outbound passengers and the transportation of the port, timely releasing the situation of the inbound and outbound passenger flow at the port, and optimizing the waiting mode and passenger diversion guidance through reasonable arrangements for the police on duty and dynamic adjustment of the proportion of channels, so as to ensure efficient and smooth customs clearance at the port during the Spring Festival holiday.
