Among the many subjects in the creation of ceramic painting, figure painting is undoubtedly the most difficult among them. And Zou Ziliang is best at figure painting. Figure painting is valuable in both form and spirit, but looking at Zou Ziliang's figure works, the eyebrows are vivid, lifelike, and he uses delicate brushstrokes and rich colors to express the temperament and charm of the ancient sages to the fullest, which makes the viewer amazed.
In Mr. Zou's works, traditional elements occupy a very important part, whether it is the selection of themes or creative skills, they tend to draw inspiration from tradition. The figure paintings are mostly traditional figures, and the elements of Buddhist culture are significant, and the characters in the paintings, whether they are immortals and Buddhas or old people, are mostly the images of fluttering clothes, and the temperament of the immortals is extraordinary.
Mr. Zou Ziliang's figure painting is not only delicate and nuanced, but also pays more attention to the expression of charm, especially the creation of the ancient sage and the elderly, not only the shape is similar, but also pays more attention to the god-likeness, and the brush and ink reveal a transcendent temperament, which has a sense of fairy wind and bones, so that the viewer seems to be able to feel the soul of the characters in the painting.
