Daegu Zhuang Yu Zuomin villa is dilapidated, and people go to the empty building
Daegu Village was once known as the "pride of China". What was once a small impoverished village has now become a bustling metropolis. All these changes are inseparable from the hard work of all the villagers of Daegu Village.
In particular, Woo Zuomin, who once lived in Daegu Village, although he is no longer there, his villa still stands there, witnessing the changes of Daegu Village and becoming a historical mark.
Daeguzhuang's Difficult Journey: Daeguzhuang was once a small village in Jinghai County, Tianjin, and before the liberation of the People's Republic of China, the local people lived in great difficulty. The bad weather environment makes the spring drought and the autumn waterlogging, the land is barren, and the people have a very difficult life because of what they plant.
There is a local folk song: "Daegu Village, Lao Dongxiang, drink bitter water, eat vegetable bran; I'd rather eat bran for three years, and have a woman who doesn't marry Daegu Village. This speaks volumes about the level of poverty in Daegu's past.
However, Daegu Village did not sink because of this, but through unremitting efforts and struggles, it developed and became a famous enterprise village in China.
After the liberation of China, Daegu Zhuang actively responded to the call of the times and promoted agricultural cooperation and land reform. After a period of hard work, the people's living standards have improved, but they have not yet reached the state of prosperity, and there are still some families in the village who are struggling to fill their stomachs.
In 1958, Daeguzhuang, whose economy had improved slightly, fell into the whirlpool of the "people's commune" movement and suffered certain setbacks. Although their efforts were almost in vain, the villagers of Daegu Village persevered, and the whole village launched a vigorous reform movement.
In 1974, the villagers of Daegu decided to change the backwardness of their hometown. It took them nearly three years to excavate a staggering 4.1 million cubic meters of soil.
Thousands of acres of saline-alkali land, which were originally uneven and uneven, have been transformed into fertile soil suitable for planting. With this land to cultivate, they found a way to make a fortune.
In addition to ploughing the land, they also built seven straight roads and dozens of paths for tractors and horse-drawn carts. With these roads, a solid foundation was laid for agriculture and mechanization in Daegu.
After several years of arduous land reform, Daegu's agricultural economy has achieved remarkable development, but it has not yet been completely lifted out of poverty. For the villagers, a bowl of hot noodles is a sign of wealth.
Due to extreme poverty, in the three years from 1974 to 1977, only four new female members were recruited, and more than 200 marriageable male villagers still failed to find a spouse.
In order to get out of poverty and become prosperous, the villagers of Daegu Zhuang brainstormed and deliberated, and agreed that the establishment of a rolling mill was the best way out.
Setting up a rolling mill may seem simple, but it can be difficult. Several experts who set up a rolling mill suggested that the idle old parts of the Tianjin Iron and Steel Plant should be used and then processed into cold-rolled strip, which would definitely make a lot of money.
Although the people of Daegu did not have the door, the people they knew and enough money, they did not give up. At this time, a person named Liu Wanming recommended himself, he knew a lot of people from the rolling mill, and through his matchmaking, the purchase of the rolling mill finally had an eyebrow.
If you can get three units, you can earn at least 300,000 yuan a year!
When the villagers heard that they were going to raise 30,000 yuan in start-up capital, they were very excited and raised their glasses to celebrate the bright future. Although they already have plans to set up a factory, where the money will come from has become a big question.
Daegu Village is not as wealthy as other villages, it is a real poverty, and it is very difficult for them to raise 100,000 yuan of start-up capital.
Although some villagers were a little richer and borrowed 3,200,000, and some poorer villagers also borrowed 3,200, the total of these funds was less than 30,000 yuan, which was far less than the minimum budget given by the experts.
In Daegu, where you can't even eat a big bowl of noodles, it is even more difficult to raise 100,000 yuan of start-up capital than to ascend to the sky.
On the road of borrowing money, they overcame obstacles, even if they wore out their mouths, they failed to borrow 100,000 yuan. Some people ridiculed Daegu for being poor and backward, and some even advised them to give up struggling, believing that even if they borrowed money, they would not be able to repay it.
However, they suffered cold eyes and blows, but they always had a glimmer of hope and found Kou Yingjie, the bank president of Jinghai County. One of the veteran party members even knelt down to Kou Yingjie and asked for help.
Kou Yingjie was moved by their persistence and persistence, and immediately agreed to their loan request. Despite the difficulties, they still did not give up and persevered in moving forward.
Zhang Yupu, a veteran party member, rode a bicycle and rushed back to Daegu Village with tears in his eyes, bringing good news about the bank's loan. With the official seal, they hurriedly went to the Jinghai County Bank and finally completed the loan of 100,000 yuan.
Although the Jinghai County Bank at that time had difficulty in capital turnover and only lent out 40,000 yuan, it was better than nothing. The loan was an important boost for Daegu, who used the money to buy an old rolling mill and build two with the help of Mr. Liu.
However, it is not enough to have a rolling mill, a new crane of 10 tons is needed, but the purchase of a new crane requires more than 100,000 yuan, which is undoubtedly a huge challenge for the impoverished Daegu Village.
Although they lack funds, they have endless labor and intelligence. Liu Wanming and others visited a factory in Tianjin, they memorized the structure and parts of the crane, and obtained the drawings of the crane from other places.
It took them a month and a half and an investment of 30,000 yuan to successfully build an earthen crane. However, having equipment does not mean that everything is fine, and engaging in industry is not just talk on paper, they visited many factories, but they were all rejected because their processing strip does not have quality assurance and reputation.
This makes their investment look like it's been a waste. However, the villagers of Daegu were naturally resilient and unyielding, and after months of repeated struggles, a factory was finally willing to try out the strip they processed.
Daeguzhuang encountered many difficulties on the road to processing strip, but always adhered to the belief of quality first, and their efforts were rewarded, and finally produced high-quality strip products.
This high-quality product has not only won the favor of consumers, but also allowed Daegu Village to come out of the predicament and become"Send steel to your door"of the makers. From a small factory with a starting capital of less than 100,000 yuan, it developed into a net profit of 160,000 yuan a year in 1978, paid off the loan, and was able to purchase an additional machine.
This is all because they always insist on quality first and exchange for hard work.
The profit in the first year was 600,000, which exceeded the experts' expectations of 300,000 and doubled. By 1980, the Daeguzhuang Rolling Mill had grown rapidly, with the number of machines increasing to 19 and an annual profit of 800,000 yuan.
In nine years, the output value of Daeguzhuang's first rolling mill has increased by 72 times, and the net income has increased by 378 times. By 1987, the factory had developed 7 large factories and 28 branches, and was renamed Wanquan Industrial Company after Liu Wanquan.
A few years later, around 1992, Daeguzhuang established Wanquan Group Company, and the sales revenue reached 5300 million yuan, net profit reached 71 million yuan. Without the first "hen factory", there would be no later "China's first village".
The villagers' wish to eat a big bowl of noodles only once has now come true, and everyone is living a life of building high-rise buildings and driving luxury cars.
The wealth and prosperity of Daegu can be seen in their luxury villas. Take their so-called "Zhongnanhai" villa as an example, and there are many checkpoints to enter this villa.
At the gate, special security guards guard, people who want to enter must make an appointment in advance, and after passing the appointment, they also need to fill out the guest list at the front desk and wait for the host to receive them.
It is said that the level of security of this villa was even comparable to that of the command of the regular army at that time. Stepping into the villa, the first thing that catches your eye is a lighthouse that is more than 20 meters high.
There are 4 searchlights at the top of the tower, and every time they are turned on, the lights illuminate every corner of Daegu Village.
Surrounded by grape trellises, lush greenery and lush greenery, this villa is like a fairyland. The exterior wall of the villa is equipped with 10 wall-mounted split air conditioners, and the indoor temperature is constant for 24 hours, so it is as warm and comfortable as spring at any time of the day.
The villa is spread over three floors: the ground floor is a living room and home bar with a 1-metre diameter European ceiling lamp and pearl agate; The second floor is a dedicated office and a ** suite for visitors to rest; On the third floor, the master's bedroom was 780 square metres and equipped with state-of-the-art electronics at the time.
This villa has hosted international dignitaries, and Indian Deputy David is one of them. At that time, he had a strong interest in Daegu Village in Tianjin, China, so he chose to live in the ** suite here.
Daviral was impressed by the prosperity and opulence of Daegu Village, and was even more surprised when he heard that there were as many as 150 villas here. When he was about to leave, he also asked for a bird's-eye view of Daegu, saying that he would also build a "Daegu Village" in India after returning to China.
Since then, ambassadors from 54 countries have visited Daegu, and in order to greet them, Daegu has sent more than 100 luxury cars, including 16 Mercedes-Benz.
In 1994, Daegu was so wealthy that there were only two Mercedes-Benz 560s in the whole of Tianjin, one of which was in Daegu, much to the surprise of visiting ambassadors to China.
They lamented the standard of living in Daegu Village, as if it were a welcome occasion for a country. The people of Daegu once said that they would marry 100 of the most beautiful foreign girls, so that they could have 100 foreign relatives and attract 100 foreign-funded cooperative enterprises.
The per capita income of the villagers in Daegu Village is even more amazing, they enjoy 14 free treatments such as water and electricity, medical expenses, tuition fees, housing, etc., the wages of in-service workers are increasing every year, and the pension of each retired elderly person is also more than 100 yuan.
The people of Daegu have lived a prosperous life, and according to statistics, personal savings reached 1300 million yuan, with an average of 2$140,000 deposit.
These deposits are all in the bank, and there is no way to know what money is left at home. After Daegu became wealthy, it attached great importance to the education of its children. Some people have proposed to use 300,000 yuan to start a school, but others feel that it is more practical to open another factory.
However, most people think, "The school is a place to cultivate talents, and in the past, Daegu Village had no way out because of the low level of education." Now that we are rich, we should spend our money on people, just as we make blades out of the best steel. ”
With the power of money, Daegu quickly built a new four-story school with all the amenities, including brand new air conditioning and computers, which even surpassed the level of many schools in Tianjin at the time.
After the establishment of the school, Daegu emphasized education, and it was clearly stipulated that only children who had graduated from junior high school could enter the factory to work, and since then, Daegu Village has implemented 11 years of compulsory education.
Not only that, Daeguzhuang's educational blueprint is even more ambitious, and in cooperation with Tianjin Institute of Technology, the country's first peasant university - Tianjin Institute of Technology Daeguzhuang Branch, Daeguzhuang High School graduates can directly enter this university to study.
Yu Zuomin, who sank in a wealthy life, once took it as his responsibility to develop Daegu Village wholeheartedly. However, as a member of the Communist Party, he went astray and regarded himself as the benefactor and owner of Daegu Village, and arbitrarily exercised all affairs in Daegu Village.
This is undoubtedly on the wrong path, because nothing needs his own consent to be implemented.
Yu Zuomin was conceited and arrogant, his behavior became more and more arrogant, and he even regarded the laws of the country as nothing. Shockingly, he illegally purchased 15 semi-automatic rifles, stockpiled more than 2,000 rounds of ammunition, and hired a group of "thugs" to protect himself.
In 1992, the general manager of Huada Group died of illness, but after his death, the whereabouts of a fund of up to 100 million yuan in the company were unknown. In order to find out the matter, Yu Zuomin ordered a comprehensive review of the entire company.
However, in the process of review, he blatantly violated the law by setting up a "public court" without permission, conducting "illegal interrogations" of several employees of BGI Group, and pressuring them: "Explain your ** problem well." ”
In the course of the incident, an employee, Wei Fuhe, was severely beaten at the behest of Yu Zuomin and eventually passed away. Yu Zuomin calmly called the police to **, claiming that someone had killed Wei Fuhe for no reason, and it had nothing to do with his behavior.
They falsified the evidence of Wei Fuhe** and cleaned up the scene, but under the investigation of shrewd law enforcement officers, ** quickly discovered the anomaly. However, none of this can hide the disregard and cruelty of Yu Zuomin and his subordinates.
In order to investigate the cause of Wei Fuhe's death more deeply, Tianjin sent six forensic technicians to Daeguzhuang. However, Yu Zuomin assumed the posture of "Emperor of the Soil", not only hindered the investigation of **, but also illegally detained the 6 criminal policemen for 13 hours.
In April 1993, Yu Zuomin**. In addition, he is also guilty of obstructing official business, illegal detention, illegal control, and harboring criminals.
As a result, he was convicted of several crimes and eventually sentenced to 20 years in prison. When confronted with the facts of his crime, Yu Zuomin finally stated: "Daegu Village has developed, and my mind has also swelled, forgetting spiritual civilization and law.
I didn't realize the serious crime I had committed until **. ”
However, Yu Zuomin's time in prison did not last long, and because of the torture of heart disease, he successfully applied for medical parole. During his time in the hospital, he enjoyed a relatively relaxed and favorable hospital environment.
It was not until the spring of 1997, when his mother died, that he was granted the right to visit home. By October 1999, the 70-year-old Yu Zuo was so sensitive that his life had lost its color, he had long lost his determination to fight for Daegu Village many years ago, and he had also lost his bottom line as a legal citizen.
Coupled with the death of his old mother, Yu Zuomin realized that many things were no longer under his control. Late at night on October 2, Yu Zuomin chose to swallow a large amount of sleeping pills at one time, thus ending his life.
What Yu Zuomin did in his later years had devastating consequences for the Yu family. His luxury car and possessions were confiscated, and his family was forced to move out of Daegu, leaving the once luxurious villa to stand alone in the river of time.
This uninhabited villa of Yu Zuomin is now dilapidated and has been devastated by years of wind and rain. The walls are falling off, the courtyard is overgrown with weeds, and it has been reduced to a forgotten ruin.
Although Yu Zuomin's ashes were moved back to the ancestral grave of the Yu family in Daegu Village, for many years, no one cared about this grave, and no one even came to worship during the New Year's holiday.
All this verifies a saying: when gathered, it is like a sky full of stars; When it is scattered, it is like a raging fire. Power has never been a tool to serve someone, but to improve the quality of life of people.
If you can't understand this like Yu Zuomin, the final outcome can only be abandoned by the people.
This is a record of the centennial archives of Chinese entrepreneurs, from 1912 to 2012, recording the development of Chinese entrepreneurs. In the process, there is a red "village owner", who is closest to Zhongnanhai and is a representative figure of Chinese village officials.
His story is included in this booklet to show us the growth and development of Chinese entrepreneurs.
