In the cold winter, the cold wind is biting. But in the Guoguang Community Conference Room in Qiaotou Town, Feidong County, it is a warm spring. On February 2, the publication and reading ceremony of the third issue of "Fuxing People" magazine jointly organized by Guoguang Community and Hefei Fuxing Friendship Association was held here.
A little bit of love condenses the nostalgia of the countryside. At the ceremony, everyone talked eloquently. Founded in March 2010, the Hefei Fuxing Association has members including teachers, entrepreneurs, civil servants, rural cadres, and ordinary people. Since its establishment, the Association has devoted itself to supporting hometown education, helping the poor, and providing charity for the elderly in the past 15 years, and has given human, material and financial support during the period of rural revitalization, new countryside, epidemic prevention and control, and flood fighting.
Qian Yongtao is the executive chairman of the hometown association, don't look at the age of seventy, but over the years he has contributed to his hometown. Over the years, although Qian Yongtao has been working hard in other places for more than 40 years, he always thinks about his hometown and his fellow villagers, and thinks about doing some public welfare undertakings to help people in need, but for Qian Yongtao, he has counted countless times, digging ponds and roads in the village, condolences to flood fighting migrant workers and the elderly in nursing homes, visiting left-behind children, helping poor students, and donating epidemic prevention materials ......Since the success of his business in 2010, Qian Yongtao has donated more than 300,000 yuan to his hometown.
In 2023, they donated 20,000 yuan to the elderly in Qiaotou Town Rehabilitation Center, and at the same time sponsored 200,000 yuan for the maintenance of the old house. Zhao Yinglan, a representative of the Feidong County People's Congress and a caring entrepreneur, has funded more than 100,000 yuan for poor college students, students and people in need in her hometown for many years. Liu Weimin, secretary general of Hefei Feidong Fuxing Friendship Association, has been saddling for the hometown association out of his own pocket for 15 years, forgetting to sleep and eating, silently dedicating his efforts and sweat, never caring about personal gains and losses, and has won unanimous praise from the people.
It is worth mentioning that, according to preliminary calculations, in the past 15 years, the Hefei Feidong Fuxing Township Association has donated more than 1.2 million yuan to its hometown.
At the same time, the Association actively dedicates love to its hometown every year on Children's Day, Teacher's Day and Chung Yeung Festival, and also condolences to several veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression) for three consecutive years, so that they can feel the warmth of the big family.
It is understood that Hefei Feidong Fuxing Township Association, every year there are many village sages, caring people return to their hometown several times to dedicate love, but Qian Yongtao's deeds are a microcosm of many members of the Fuxing Association. It can even be said that in Qiaotou Market Town, almost all the people who are living in difficulty have received the help of the Revival Association. "Our roots are in our hometown, serving our parents and fellow villagers, helping the poor and helping students and funding the construction of public welfare undertakings, which is a little gratitude and return heart ...... the hometown that raised meFor such a good deed, the members of the association all said this. Caring for the hometown adds impetus to development. Under the planning of the members of the association, the magazine "Revival People" was launched in 2021 and was given away for free. It is understood that the magazine will be close to the hometown, close to the field, excavate the humanistic history and folk customs of the hometown, actively introduce the successful sages of the hometown abroad, and dig out the good fashion and good stories of the hometown.
In addition to the comrades of the Fellow Townsmen's Association, the third issue of the release ceremony also specially invited the heads of several communities in Qiaotou Market Town.
