If your USB flash drive is partitioned and you want to restore it to a single large partition, you can use some disk management tools to do so. Here's how to use Windows' built-in disk management tool and third-party software like MiniTool Partition Wizard Free. Please note that before doing these operations, make sure that you have backed up all the important data on the USB flash drive, as this process will delete all the data on the USB flash drive.

Back up data on a USB flash drive: Make sure that there is no important data on the USB flash drive, or that it has been backed up elsewhere.

Open the Disk Management tool

Right-click on the Windows Start button and select "Disk Management".

Or press the Windows key + R, enterdiskmgmt.msc, and press Enter.

Delete the partition on the USB flash drive

Find your USB flash drive in Disk Management and be aware of the USB flash drive based on its size and name.

For each partition on the USB flash drive, right-click on the partition and select "Delete Volume." This deletes the partition and converts its space to an "unallocated" state. Repeat this operation for all partitions on the USB flash drive.

Create a new partition

Right-click on the unallocated space on the USB flash drive and select Create Simple Volume.

Follow the wizard to set the size of the new partition (select the maximum if you want to use the entire USB flash drive space), the drive letters to allocate, formatting options, and more. In general, it is better to choose NTFS or FAT32 as the file system.

Complete the setup and formatting: After completing the wizard, the disk management tool formats the USB flash drive and creates a new partition. At this point, the USB flash drive should have been restored to a single large partition.

** and install the software: Install from the official *** Minitool Partition Wizard Free version of Minitool.

Using third-party software often offers more options and a more user-friendly interface, especially for users who are not familiar with disk management. However, no matter which method you use, make sure to back up your data before doing it, as these operations can lead to data loss.
