In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the crowd, I often feel an invisible pressure. In this ever-changing world, I longed to find a place of tranquility for myself, a place where I could escape the distractions of the world for a while. However, just as I was lost and confused, a phrase crept into my mind – wish I was just me, and I would still be me.
This sentence was like a beacon that illuminated my path forward. It taught me that in this vast and complex world, I don't have to pander to the expectations of others or lose myself in the pursuit of worldly success. I should be that unique, unique me, someone with the ability to think and act independently.
Looking back on the past years, I have changed myself countless times in order to meet the expectations of others. I tried to imitate other people's models of success, but I lost my voice and identity. I tried to pursue worldly honor and status, only to find that it was not the happiness I wanted. I realized that what I had been looking for was in the depths of my own self – that true and unwavering self.
I started to re-examine my values and purpose in life. I began to pay attention to my own inner needs and desires, and was no longer swayed by the expectations of others. I began to try to express and realize my dreams in my own way, and no longer blindly pursued those illusory honors and achievements.
In the process, I discovered a whole new version of myself. I began to love life and the people and things around me. I started to focus on my physical and mental health and started to enjoy those simple but beautiful moments. I began to use my unique voice and actions to impact and change the world around me.
Today, I am no longer the lost, blindly seeking honor and status. I am the unique, unique me, one who has the ability to think and act independently. I understand that only by constantly discovering and showing my inner value can I truly achieve my dreams and goals.
In this rapidly changing world, I will continue to keep myself alive and move forward steadfastly. I will use my voice and actions to express and realize my dreams, and I will no longer be swayed by the distractions of the world. I will continue to pursue those simple and beautiful times, and let my life be full of sunshine and hope.
Finally, I would like to say to everyone who is looking for a self: I wish each of us to become that unique, unique self, a self with the ability to think and act independently. Let us use our voices and actions to influence and change the world around us, so that this world can become a better place because of our existence.
