Speaking of fishermen's paintings, Jiang Deye recounts: "Like my ancestors and most of my peers, I got on a boat at the age of 17 and made a career out of fishing. At the age of 30, Jiang Deye became the captain of the boat and began to be responsible for the fishing operations of the two boats. When he was young, he could withstand the extreme weather and strong winds and waves on the ocean, but when he got older, a series of practical problems made Jiang Deye, who was not confused, retreat. In 2004, he sold his boat and came to Shenjiamen to become a painter.
I have loved painting since I was a child, and my teacher in primary school graduated from Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. When he was a little older, in order to learn art skills, Jiang Deye also specially ordered professional books on fine arts, and worked hard to learn the introductory knowledge of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
Under the guidance of the Putuo Culture, Radio, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Jiang Deye and several Zhoushan painters once worshiped under Zhu Renmin's door. Zhu Renmin bluntly said that Jiang Deye's paintings can be sold as tourist goods, but they are far from enough to be called paintings. How do you elevate your craft into art? Zhu Renmin asked Jiang Deye to realize it himself.
The change of creation comes from a grain of sand. Once, Jiang Deye was invited to create a painting, and when he came back, he found that there was a grain of sand stuck on the painting, and he couldn't pick it off, but the painting with sand appeared more three-dimensional, Jiang Deye was shocked that this was exactly the change he was seeking. So, he hurriedly went to the construction site and picked up a handful of sea sand, and began to try to mix the sand with paint and paint to paint with sea sand.
Over the years, Jiang Deye has found the optimal mixing ratio between sand and pigment through continuous improvement. Today's sea sand paintings retain a unique texture, and the picture is very refreshing.
In 2009, Jiang Deye's "Fish Wedding Season" won the silver medal of the Yiwu Cultural Fair. In 2012, Jiang Deye's "Zhoushan Big Yellow Croaker" was sent to the collection of the China ** Promotion Association in Beijing. Previously, another earlier painting, "Zhoushan Big Yellow Croaker", was unveiled at the Yeosu World Expo in South Korea and became a treasure in the collection of the China Pavilion.
