20 September 2022 – The General Administration of Customs (GAC) officially issued the Measures of the GAC to Support Nansha, Guangzhou in Deepening Comprehensive Cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Facing the World.
Interpretation: The "Measures" put forward 16 specific measures, which will facilitate scientific and technological and economic exchanges and cooperation between Nansha and Hong Kong, Macao and even the rest of the world.
On 30 January 2023, the General Administration of Customs (GAC) issued the Measures to Support and Serve the Development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, proposing 20 specific measures.
Interpretation: The Measures closely follow the main task of the construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, fully meet the demands of all parties in Guangdong and Macao, greatly facilitate the free flow of goods and people in the Hengqin Cooperation Zone, and will vigorously promote Macao residents to live and work in peace and contentment in the Hengqin Cooperation Zone.
On 8 February 2023, the Guangdong People's Congress released the full text of the Regulations on the Promotion of the Development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, which will come into force on 1 March 2023.
Interpretation: This is the first comprehensive regulation of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, which aims to provide a strong legal guarantee for the construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and promote Macao's long-term prosperity and stability and integration into the overall development of the country. It will not only make the Co-operation Zone more innovative and efficient, but also bring healthy competition to Macao.
On 23 February 2023, the "Opinions on Financial Support for the Development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin" was officially released, proposing 30 measures. On 15 September, the Implementation Plan for Implementing the Opinions on Financial Support for the Development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin was officially released.

Interpretation: The optimization of entry and exit management services will not only further break down barriers for the flow of people and vehicles in the cooperation zone, and facilitate customs clearance between Hengqin and Macao, but also promote the construction and development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and help promote Macao's long-term prosperity and stability and integration into the overall development of the country.
On August 29, 2023, the "Development Plan for the Shenzhen Park of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone in the Hetao" issued by *** was announced, with 2025 and 2035 as the key nodes to promote construction.

On November 28, 2023, the concrete pouring of the ballast bin in the submarine tunnel of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor was completed, marking the breakthrough of the submarine tunnel, which also means that the main line of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor has been completed.
Interpretation: The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor will be officially opened to traffic in 2024. On 21 December 2023, the Master Development Plan for the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin was officially announced, providing an important basis for the current and future construction and development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
Interpretation: The Hengqin Master Plan sets three phased goals for 2024, 2029 and 2035 and the development goals of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, shaping a new pattern of integrated development between Hengqin and Macao.
On 21 December 2023, the "Overall Development Plan for the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone" was officially released, with a planning period until 2035.
